Disclamer: I don't own iCarly. If I did, Freddie and Carly would still be together

"Okay, I got to get to class," Carly said.

"Alright, see you later," Freddie said, leaning in for a kiss.

Carly pecked him quickly on the lips before hurrying away down the hall. Was it possible that such a simple gesture could make Carly's lips tingle and stretch up into such a wide smile? Freddie's own expression mirrored Carly's perfectly. Freddie was grinning as he hobbled away to his respective classroom.

After class, Freddie met Carly at her locker.

"Hey," he said, leaning against her locker.

"Hey, yourself," she said, closing her locker. She turned to face him, mimicking his position.

"You wouldn't believe what happened in Briggs today," he said, laughing.

"What?" she asked, already giggling because of Freddie's infectious laughter.

"She tried to demonstrate the proper method of tap dancing."

"No way! She did not!" Carly said disbelievingly. She shoved his shoulder lightly.

Freddie winced slightly, and Carly's disbelief faded into remorse.

"Oh god, Freddie, I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to-"

"Carly, it's ok!" Freddie said laughingly. "I'm alright."

"Are you sure? I hit you kinda hard and-"

"You know, if you wanna make it up to me, there is something you can do."

"What?"

"Well, they do always say kisses make everything better." Freddie arched an eyebrow at her. "Are you willing to test this theory?"

Carly giggled, wanting to play this out a little longer.

"Oh, I don't know. What will I get in return?" she said, fighting a smile but keeping her voice cool.

Freddie grinned mischievously. "Well, I might be willing to give you a kiss back. Does that sound like a fair trade?" He asked, moving closer and wrapping his arms around her waist. Her arms snaked up his shoulders and around his neck.

"That sound's very fair, Mr. Benson," she whispered, before leaning her face up to take his lips between her own. They kissed slowly and sweetly, savoring each others' lips. Carly pulled back after a minute to breathe, but Freddie just moved his mouth to her neck. Her fingers had snaked their way up to his hair during their kiss, and she started playing with his soft roots. Freddie kissed his way to her shoulder before moving his mouth up to her ear. Freddie surprised her by blowing a raspberry right behind her ear.

Carly giggled and pulled away slightly to reveal a grinning Freddie. "Freddie!" she admonished, still giggling. He just laughed and nuzzled her neck. Just then the bell rang, interrupting their moment.

"Damn," whispered Freddie against her neck. Carly giggled again. It seemed that she was doing that a lot these days.

"Do you wanna go to the Groovy Smoothies after school?" she asked, pulling back slightly to look into his face.

"Sure, but don't we always go to the Groovy Smoothies after school?"

Carly looked down shyly. "No, I mean just the two of us."

Freddie grinned, tilting Carly's face up with his bandaged hand. He kissed her softly, then whispered, "I wouldn't miss it for the world."
