Author's note: [So…I decided to take a break from writing Stargaze. This story might be the only one I'm posting on FFNET. とにかく、読みなさい!]

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It's been two years since my last battle with the members of Grand Chase. Of course, I was one of them but ever since I left Serdin Castle just so that I would become the new leader of the Violet Mage Guild, I still couldn't get them out of my mind. They were all friends, my friends.

I remember the last time we were all together. Our missions were finally over and the knight master was ready to gleefully whisk us away with the news…But were we happy? NO! All those quests and challenges we faced brought us together. Unfortunately, we couldn't do anything about it.

Apart from friends, I had one special person in my heart but I don't think he feels the same way about me. He was mostly quiet and nobody knows much about him. I'd say he never opens up to anyone.

Just now, a student of mine came knocking and told me I had a visitor.

"Did you ask who it was?" I questioned. I never liked having strangers as "guests".

"Sorry but no…He told me he'll never reveal his identity until he sees you," she replied.

"Well then, take me to him…"

She led me to the entrance of the guild. I was practically glued to the ground when I saw who the person was.

"Arme?!" he exclaimed, "Is that really you?!"

I tried to hold back the tears. His appearance hasn't changed, not even once. He still had the same silver hair and light-blue eyes I knew.

I opened the gates using magic and ran towards him as fast as I can. When I was close enough, I jumped on him and hugged him without thinking.

"Lass! I missed you!" I yelled. I thought I heard him mutter something before he proceeded to hug me back.

Later on, I found myself walking with him in the park.

"So how's life for you these days?" I asked.

"Terrible" he grimaced.

"Why?"

"Well, I'm better off fighting monsters than teaching newbies at the thief guild. It's a bit too…"

"Normal?"

"Yeah"

"I think so too…"

He glanced at me for a while before saying, "You've really changed a lot"

Then, he grabbed a few strands of my hair and examined them. As the case may be, he had noticed they had grown longer, a WHOLE lot longer. He stared at the strands and dropped them with a sigh.

"What's wrong?" I stated in a low voice.

"I was just spacing out again…Remember when I finally became an assassin?"

"Yeah…How could I forget that? It was the first time you actually smiled!"

"Guess smiling really is a rare thing for me to do…"

I grinned and told him not to worry about it. He nodded in response and dragged me along as he began running.

"Where are we going?" I uttered. It was hard to keep up with him; after all, he was the fastest runner of the group.

"You'll see!" he retorted.

After minutes of racing through the forests, we finally made it to a cliff which had a good view of the sunset. It was…beautiful!

"I've never seen something like this for ages!" I exclaimed, but before I could even thank Lass, he grabbed me by the waist and kissed me on the lips. It was quite shocking but I didn't move. We stayed like that until I pulled away from him; my cheeks grew red in embarrassment.

"L-Lass…W-Why did you…" I started but he didn't let me finish.

"I did it because I…I love you Arme," he replied grimly.

My eyes were now wet with tears. I've wanted to hear that from him for a long time.

"I'll be going now. See you…" he muttered. No…I don't want to be separated from him again!

"WAIT LASS!" I cried. He turned around and I hugged him immediately after he did so, "I-I don't want you to g-go!"

I was practically redder than I was earlier but if I didn't stop him, I would have regretted it my whole life. I loved Lass…That was never gonna change.
