Cut

[This is my first every published fanfic. I have others and this definitely is NOT my best work but I'd thought I'd publish it. It originally was used for a short story for Writing II class but here I am putting it here. Its pretty short too... I obviously dont own the characters of DDLC it belong to the great Dan 'the man' Slavato. Enjoy!]

She lays me down on her bureau beside her velvet bed. I watch as she moves around the room with such grace: her long violet hair swaying, undressing slowly. She makes it seem like a performance, a ritual. It is. A ritual to the raccoon. She comes to me and slowly slides my sharp metal edge against her skin: ecstasy. She loves it, she loves the pain. She licks the edge of me… wincing and biting her lip tasting her blood. She loved me, so much she wrote about me in a poem. In a poem, The Raccoon, she wrote a metaphor for it. The Raccoon, her addiction. The Bread she feeds it, her feeding her addiction. But one day the raccoon will get carried away. It will want more.

An hour later, walking gracefully into the room, sitting down on her bed, eyes shining with joy, she stared at a blue pen beside me. Oh, how much I pitied that pen. She had stolen it from her love, a boy she hangs out with at her club meetings, last weekend, when they were working on a project. Having been his, she acted like it was him. Whispering to herself, she took it and gazed at it lovingly. She began to...do things with it. When she was finished, she went to her vanity and picked up a clean empty sheet. Writing her final poem. The poem, soon red and yellow stained, was started. Or so I thought it was. Her eyes frantic, she scribbled and wrote meaningless on it, over and over and over. As if pleased with her disgrace, she smiled and put it in her bookbag. Little did I know of the words at the end… Turning off the light, she went to sleep peacefully and easily. The Raccoon wanted more.

The next day, she took me to school in her bag. Today she would confess her love to him: I can feel her anxiety and anticipation radiating from her. At the clubroom, she yelled and threatened at her own friends to leave so she can talk alone to her love. Her demeanor panic-stricken, she couldn't wait to have him read her poem, which she titled mdpnfbo, jrfp. Reading it in utter confusion, he seemed to know the disgustingness he was touching. Her emotions unstable, she finally told him everything. How she felt about him, what she would do with his pen, everything. Now he must choose, but no matter what it all ended the same. Her mind was broken: all she could think of was him. Her emotions were out of whack and crazy. She was obsessed with him. But the Raccoon had wanted more.

"Do you accept my confession?"

"Of course, I do."

/

"I'm sorry, I don't."

"Ahahahaha…"

"AHAHAHAHA…"

"AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"

She pulled me out swiftly from her pocket. As swiftly as the Raccoon jumps into the house. It was hungry. Frozen in fear, her love was seeing the unexpected. She shoved me into her stomach. Once. Twice. She lifted her shaking arms to her chest. A third to the heart. Trembling in pleasure, soaked in blood, eyes rolling back, she collapses onto the floor.

The Raccoon was fed too much.

[Author's Note: This short story sort of counts as a fanfic, even if based on the plot or used for educational purposes. This is based on a game: Doki Doki Literature Club!, created by Dan Salvato and Team Salvato. I wrote this story about it because I love the game, the art, and the plot; the plot specifically aiding me to write this.
