I do not own any of the twilight characters. All I own is the plot, and Bella's power.
I remember all of it. The blood, the pain, and most of all, my beautiful daughter, Renesmee. I always expected the baby to be a boy, as I dreamt of so many times before, but as soon as I saw her, I knew she was my child. Her features were all Edwards, but she had my brown eyes, those at least wouldn't be lost. She was the most beautiful person in the world, even more so than Edward, and she was all ours.
"How was the hunt?" Esme asked as me and Edward walked through the door of the house. "Good." I answered quickly. All I wanted to do was see her. Renesmee. "I want to see her." Edward looked around uncomfortably, meeting eyes with Jasper. He faced me. "Well, even though we just hunted, your still a newborn… and." Edward drifted off. "And what?" I asked skeptically. "Well we don't want to risk anything.. I mean you could," I cut him off. "What!? Hurt her!!? My own daughter!????" I yelled angrily. He looked sorry he'd ever said anything. "You can't be sure." He said in an apologetic voice. "I am." I said looking him in the eye. He looked at Jasper, who looked worried. Idiot. I may be a newborn, but hurt my own daughter? My Renesmee? I'd never. I think Jasper could feel my certainty. He sighed in defeat. "Alright." He said. Rosalie came into the living room, holding my angel. Or so I thought. I gasped in pure shock. There was no way. She'd been so tiny when she was born… how long was I gone? Two days. From the looks of her, it looked as if I'd been gone two years. The little baby I had given birth to just 2 days ago looked like she was 3 years old at the least. It was amazing. Amazingly scary. I noticed that the rest of the Cullen's had entered the room. I looked at Carisle for an explanation. "How is this possible?" I asked in bewilderment. He looked at Renesmee, looking happy and sad at the same time. "Well she seems to be growing at a rapid pace, because she's a half vampire she'll keep growing for a while, then stop completely." This is made me uneasy. "When will she stop?" "When she's about 17." Carisle said, almost regretfully. 17. A full grown women at 17 years old. It felt like too much to take in all at once. I felt immediate relief radiating from Jasper. I looked over at him. "Thanks." I said. "No problem Bella." He said happily. He seemed very relieved now that I was a vampire. I took a step toward Rosalie, Renesmee smiled a beautiful smile at me, showing off all of her white teeth. "May I hold her?" Rose smiled. "Of course Bella. She's your daughter after all." I smiled back. It was nice to know that she was still my friend, even after the birth. She wordlessly handed her to me. As soon as my skin met with hers, my head was filled with images. I saw me, back when I was still pregnant with her, I saw Edward, I saw Rosalie brushing her hair, and Alice playing with her. I saw Esme making her clothes, and Carisle reading to her. I even saw Jasper and Emmett attempting to teach her how to play video games. I'd have to talk to them later. Then, when I'd expected the images to end, I saw something I didn't expect to see. Jacob. Lots of him. He was playing with her, rocking her to sleep, playing games with her, drawing with her. He was with her a lot more than all the rest of the Cullen's. I didn't get it. He should be mad at me, at all of us… I noticed he had entered the room, as if on cue. When I saw him make eye contact with Renesmee, I didn't even have to ask. I looked from her to Jake and back again. "You didn't."
