Once upon a time there was a weapon known as the black bow, a weapon that belonged to the house of Vorn for generations. Blessed by a goddess of darkness and death the bow held unbelievable powers of destruction but it's true potential does not lie there, for it belonged to a man who gave up his ideals, a hero that turned villain all to save his little sister. It belonged to Shirou Emiya, will his descendant be worthy of its power or will shirou take back what is rightfully his.
Author notes
A lazy author that only writes first drafts.
I could have easily made it a prequel story but that would require far too much effort on my behalf, so no im not doing that. This is a non serious attempt because I have way too many projects already and the fact that shirou could steamroll his way though. Shirou in this story has ascended to a similar state of a heroic spirit or divine being considering that he is still alive. In this story Shirou is already married and obviously the goddess is his wife.
Tigre shares a large resemblance to Shirou so Im surprised no one thought of this before.
I am going in this blind, as its been ages since I read the novels. I just thought of this because there is only two stories in this crossover so I wanted to help contribute.
Prologue part one
"Are you Tigrevurmud Vorn" I asked the man before me, he was dressed in a green tunic with simple brown leather armour and carried a black bow with him. he was about above average in height and has a tall lean figure. He has red hair and large, innocent looking hazel eyes.
"An enemy! Who are you!" Tigre raised his bow and nocked an arrow in a hurry when I barred his way.
"Peace I am neither your enemy nor your friend but rather I am the one that judges." I lifted a hand in a gesture of peace, but the man didn't lower his guard. He kept the arrow on the bowstring charging it up with his power forming a dark glow. An impressive display but to me it was nought but a trifle I could easily block such an arrow.
"I heard you met my wife, and that you passed the first test of the bow. But are you truly worthy of such a power" I continued on not caring for he would take it.
"Test? Wife?" Tigre was confused at the situation but he was running out of time, he needed to meet up with Eleonora before it was too late. Roland was leading the charge and without his help they would be decimated.
"I don't know what your talking about there are people who need my help right now, step aside or I will be forced to shoot." Tigre made his resolve, if the strange man in a cloak didn't move out of his way he would treat him as an enemy.
"The impatience of youth but I guess I would feel the same in your situation, very well I shall indulge your request but in turn you must do one of mine." I could care less about situation he was talking about, but seeing how he was my descendant it is only right for an elder to help his family in their time of need.
"What are you?" I interrupted him by picking him up from his horse in a flash. Carrying him in my arms I asked him a simple question.
"Where do you want to go?" Tigre was shocked, he couldn't react to the strange man's movements he was standing right in front of him then before he could even blink he was already in his arms. But now wasn't the time to ponder such things if the man was willing to help then he would take it, he needed to save the others.
"Over there, where the river lies just beyond there is the place I need to go."
"..." So he wanted to join the battlefield between the two armies, is this why he wanted the bows power my power but was he worthy of such a gift. For the darkness within consumes all and leaves behind an empty shell a void of a person, and that was without even using its true power just a very small fraction.
In an instant I moved so fast it appeared I teleported to the location he sought, right behind the soldiers that were fighting a losing battle. He had said he wished to save his people, meaning his side must be the losing army which was getting decimated by the hundreds.
"Here we are Tigrevurmund Vorn I have completed your request now it is time for mine." I let down my descendant onto the grassy plains who was still in shock at the speed of which he got here.
"My request is simple are you worthy of the bow, for all that attempts to use its power would be consumed by the darkness within." I left behind my bow as an inheritance for my descendants, but not a single one was worthy. They all sought power but the power they received was nothing compared to its true strength. Time and time again in their attempt for more power my descendants fought among themselves, fighting over the artefacts that I left behind destroying the kingdom that I built with their mindless squabble. Enough was enough if they couldn't use my inheritance properly I would take it back.
"Your task is simple defeat the opposing commander by yourself without help from anyone or anything. That's is my first trial if you wish to use the bow. I will be watching from the shadows." I disappeared into nothingness leaving behind a confused Tigre, whom quickly regained his bearings he had a battle to win.
"What just happened?" Tigre thought to himself as the strange man disappeared into the shadows, coming and going like a phantasm.
"It's earl Vorn the traitor kill him." A small detachment of Calvary spotted Tigre from the battlefield and split off from the charge to hunt him down.
"This is no time to be thinking about the strange man, I need to help Eleonora." He nocked an arrow on his bow releasing a small black glow as he released it, the arrow flew straight and true piercing the horseman's helmet that was charging at him with his sword drawn.
"one down, four more to go." Tigre quickly mounted the dead man's horse as it galloped past him, turning it around with the saddle he proceeded to pick off the remaining men with pinpoint accuracy and power.
"Wait for me I'm coming." He proceeded to gallop straight into the heart of the battlefield.
