TRAITS:
Upon startup, your Natsukibot is programmed with four basic 'modes' intended to replicate the behavior traits of the in-game character. These are
-Buff: The wildest of Natsukibots modes, Buffmode is activated when the Natsuki discovers muscle powder or eats too many protein bars. When activated, the Natsukibot goes into an enraged frenzy, punching walls and hunting for her father (which TS does not have a bot for). Think of it like the Incredible Hulk, if he was a pink-haired tsundere. This mode is shut off after an hour. If not, contact TS Customer Service hotline.
-Baker: The Natsukibot has dozens of recipes for a variety of snacks, treats and sweets galore pre-programmed. More can be programmed by simply uploading files into the Natsukibot via a USB cable. The Natsukibot doesn't need much assistance baking (except for just providing her with supplies), but she loves it when you do because it shows how much you care for her. ️
-Poet: She is a member of a Literature Club, after all! This mode is already activated upon startup. Often at times a Natsukibot will produce a short (or long, depending on mood and battery level) poem for you to review. She may not say it directly, but she loves compliments. Always value the poems she provides, because she puts all her effort into them just for you. She also makes a good mentor in your own writing, helping you think of plot details and assist with writer's block!
-Tsundere: What, you thought she was gonna just fall in love with you on the first day? Natsukibots have tsundere-mode activated which cannot be shut off without a code provided by Team Salvato. This is done to make her more realistic and accurate to her in-game persona. Natsukibots will look down on you for a few days to a week (depending on interaction), calling you 'dummy' and priding herself with her work. Soon, she will slowly reveal her 'cute on the inside' persona to you, and soon value you as a friend/parent.
While it is indeed possible to modify/add new trait modes for your , it is not recommend as third-party software may potentially corrupt or cause irreparable damage to your unit. Such damages do not fall under the warranty policy. Modify at your own risk. For a reasonable fee, official DLC modes may be purchased on the Team Salvato website, at
ACTIVATION:
Once you have ensured your Natsukibot is turned on, able to hear you and can move freely on its own, gently pick up and place the bot on a couch, bed or chair. Then, you may say one of the following commands (which will affect how your Natsukibot behaves for a period of time).
"Manga is literature."
Your Natsukibot will spring up and start saying compliments and agreements with you, likely hugging you and asking if you've heard of The Parfait Girls.
"Manga is not literature."
The Natsukibot will start to playfully/seriously attack you by pounding you in the chest, shouting curses and objections. Once she's calmed down, she will dismiss your poor opinions and go about her business.
"Natsuki is my favorite girl. She deserves all the love."
Your Natsukibot will blush, and act very timid and shy (she's never had this kind of affection before). She'll ask you if you want to bake together sometime (her way of asking you out for a date).
"I sure hope I don't damage this perfectly good Parfait Girls set."
Your Natsukibot will fly off her spot and try to save the manga set. If a set exists, it will clutch it to her chest and not let go (think like a puppy with a bone). If none is there, it will be confused but go about it's business.
"Parfait Girls is trash."
Chances are you won't be able to finish that sentence, because the Natsukibots hands will be wrapped around your windpipe. Use if you have a death wish.
Interactions with other Bots:
Note: These are the behaviors that have been documented in testing, and are always subject to variation based on programming and general behavior setup. Interactions with non-Team Salvato licensed bots can be unpredictable and TS is not liable for damages caused as a result of said interactions.
Protagbot: Natsuki, upon first meetup, dismissed the Protagkun as what she calls a 'dense boy'. Depending on it's programming, the Protagkun will attempt a 'courtship' of Natsukibot, to varying success. This is done via baking or reading The Parfait Girls together. Once the courtship is done, the Natsukibot values the Protagkun as a close friend.
Sayoribot: Natsuki's best friend in the game, Sayoribots are always pleasant and friendly towards Natsukibots. Sayoribots will pester Natsukibots for their baked sweets and ask to read their mangas (to varied reactions from Natsukibots). Sayoribots are very mischievous, always sneaking a bite of Natsukibots cookies. If you're looking for a great companion for your , is the right fit (just keep an eye on your Sayoribot).
Monikaai: Natsukibots are generally agitated by Monikabots, as they always place their manga collections (intentional or not) high above her reach. When this happens, you should always assist your Natsukibots in retrieving their manga (don't even THINK about peeking you-know-where!). Natsukibots are usually obedient to Monikabots, and are good friends with them regardless.
Yuridroid: Her polar opposite, Natsukibots and Yuridroids...don't tend to get along on certain topics. Putting two together usually leads to an argument, but this isn't always the case! Given the right set of jasmine oils and cupcake treats, Natsuki and Yuri can become the best of friends (or perhaps, something more?)
Maintaining Your Natsuki:
FEEDING:
Natsukis are able to feed themselves, but they enjoy you assisting in making food for the two of you. She is not a picky eater, as her starvation abuse taught her to value any meal provided to her. Her favorite drink in strawberry milk, and she has an appetite for berries.
SLEEPING:
For the most optimal performance of your , you should send your bot into hibernation mode for at least two hours or more. A 6-foot extendable plug with both American and Japanese outputs can be found tucked away in a hidden port on Natsukis back, underneath her neck. A flathead screwdriver is required to open.
It is absolutely recommended you give your bot the proper time to recharge. Protein bars alone are not sufficient to keep your bot at an optimal battery level. Failure to keep your bot at at least 15% can result in malfunction, harm or complete shutdown of your unit. Team Salvato is currently working on a solar-powered Natsuki bot, but there are no updates at the time of publication.
PROTECTING:
As her caretaker, it is your responsibility to protect your Natsuki bot from any and all harm. This includes helping her calm down when she is reminded of her father's abuse, being bullied on Reddit and social message boards, or when something bad happens (like burning her cupcakes). As her caretaker, you must do whatever it takes to ensure her happiness.
CLEANING:
Natsukibots are capable of cleaning their own bodies via washing in a shower or bath, as their seamless waterproof design allows it (don't you DARE try to peek on her!) Her clothes can be washed in a typical washer-dryer setup, and she can dress herself. She does enjoy you doing her hair for her.
Natsukibots will usually wear it's school or casual attire, but will happily try on any other clothes you buy for her (if they're cute!)
UPDATING:
As the technology evolves, Team Salvato will regularly release updates for each DDLC bot. These are a simple, one-step installation update available on the TS website (your bot will also notify you of updates). To install, simply hook up a USB cable (regular or Type C) and download the file directly into Natsukibots hard drive.
These updates vary from simple behavior tweaks to seasonal perks to performance overhauls and range from 500mbs to 1g, and with a 312tb hard drive pre-installed, don't worry about running out of space! Once the install is complete, reboot your Natsukibot.
RECREATION:
Natsukibots, while initially solitary, love interaction. Often they will ask to bake and read manga with you, as well as to go out on social dates, be it to a park, museum, zoo, mall, or anywhere else. If not, she loves to snuggle and just be in your presence. You did give her 'life', after all.
Troubleshooting:
Q: I purchased a Natsukibot and a Yuribot and left them for a few hours. I came back and they were making out! Is this normal?
A: Life, uh...finds a way.
Q: My Natsukibot was reminded of her dad when she heard a couple arguing on TV andn't stop crying. How do I help her?
A: You have to hold her close and pat her head, telling her soothing thoughts. Dry her tears away and play the Parfait Girls anime adaptation, and watch with her until she falls asleep.
Q: When I returned home one day, I found my Natsuki bots neck tilted at a near 90 degree angle, with her eyes flashing red and screaming 'Play with me!'. What the hell happened?!
A: Well? Go play with her, dummy.
Q: Does the Natsukibot like pets?
A: Depends on the animal, but generally yes! She loves kittens, because their overwhelming cuteness and small size remind her of herself!
