Snake Jailbird Comes Out As A Transgender Man

Note: I'm not trying to be anti-trans. I just picked this character because he doesn't have much of a personal life or childhood filled in by the show's writers. Also, if not every non-transgender character on a show has to be a good person, then surely we can reach a point where the occasional trans character can be a villain and that doesn't reflect on trans people as a whole? Also, Snake saying his car needs premium comes from the episode Realty Bites (1997), Snake having a son was first shown in Pygmoelian (2000), and The Seemingly Never-Ending Story (2006) and Luca$ (2014) both give the son's name as Jeremy. Snake's name being Albert Knickerbocker Aloysius Snake was mentioned in Luca$ (2014).

"Listen, little dude." Snake, also known as Albert Knickerbocker Aloysius Snake, kneeled down beside his son Jeremy. "There's something I have to tell you, okay?"

"You told me how I'm adopted." Jeremy picked at his shoelace. "I don't mind, Daddy."

"Sure, but there's more. There's, uh-" Snake ran his fingers through his pompadour, which was looking particularly resplendent today. "Look, you know how I told you the difference between girls and boys?"

"Yeah. Mommy Gloria is a girl because she has a-"

"Right, right. But see, it's not always like that. It's like – like my car. She needs premium, right? She can't have regular. Because she's different from other cars. And I'm different than other dads. When I was born people thought I was a girl because I looked like a girl, on the outside. But I always knew I was a dude on the inside, so I just was one, okay. Which is – well, it's a big word, but it's called being transgender, all right? And I just want you to know, okay, that if you don't think you're really a dude called Jeremy, you don't have to pretend to be."

"Okay Daddy. Can we go steal ice cream now?"

"Sure thing, kid."
