John rushed into the doctor's office waiting room and caught his breath at seeing Natalie was still here—he been keeping track of time for a good portion of the morning and then the next thing he knew he was forty-five minutes late to Natalie's doctor's appointment and sonogram.

"Am I late?" he asked as he sat down next to her and gave her a quick kiss.

"No—Doctor Mayfield had an emergency c-section to perform this morning so all her appointments were moved back—I'm next though."

"Good—what do you have there?" he asked, referring to the book she had with her.

"Oh, this?" she said holding up the cover so he could read the words 10,000 and MORE Baby Names. "I bought it at the gift shop while I waited—I've actually got a couple names picked out."

"Yeah?" he asked as he got curious. "Want to share?"

"Well, first I was thinking of possibly naming the baby after Uncle Bo. He means so much to us, and neither Matthew nor Drew have a part of his name, but then—."

"What?"

"The initials in the name," she said, squinting her nose up."

"Initials? You have to take into consideration the child's initials?" he asked, completely shocked—he'd always thought picking a name was an easy task, but the initials thing worried him.

"Yeah. There was this kid at my school, his full name was Aaron Shane Stewart—his initials were—."

"Ass," chuckled John to himself and then got quiet. "So was he?"

"Was he what?"

"An ass?"

Natalie laughed at the seriousness in his voice, "Now that you mention it—. I wonder if there is a connection between the initials and their personality."

"Could be—so what would his name be if we named him after Bo?"

"Well, his full name would be Beauregard Oglethorpe McBain-Buchanan—or bomb for short. First that's way too many letters for a child, second—what is he going to be when he grows up—a bomb technician? I really don't like the possibility of my first child becoming a cloud of pink mist."

John laughed at her comment, "Ok—what if we don't give him Bo's full name—just Bo McBain."

"So his initials are a shortened form of bowel movement?" she said, wrinkling her nose in disgust.

"Bo could be the middle name—how about Issac?"

Natalie smiled, "I like it too—so the initials would be—IBM?" she laughed at the thought.

"There's nothing wrong with being a computer geek."

"Yeah, hopefully he won't type with just his index fingers like his dad," she grinned as she imitated how John typed.

"What does that mean?"

"It's just funny, that's all," she grinned as the door to the office opened and a nurse walked out. "Natalie—are you ready?"

"Yeah," she said as she stood up and John placed a protective hand on her back as she walked forward.

"Have you began thinking of names yet?" asked the nurse as they were led down the hallway.

"Yeah, I think we've marked off a couple already," said Natalie as she looked at John and couldn't help but let out a small laugh.
