Tonys POV

She was late. But Ziva's never late. Where was she? He couldn't bare to see her desk empty, but he couldn't look away. It was as if his eyes were drawn to the space ahead of him, where she should be sat.

With his mind occupied with the thought of her, he didn't notice her step out of the elevator and walk by his desk. When he finally notices, he realises her staring back at him with a strange look on her face. As their eyes lock, she smiles so only he can see and sets about organising reports on her desk.

What was that? She looks…different somehow. What was that look on her face? He made a mental note to speak to her after the case.

Zivas POV

He had been on her mind all morning. No. He had been on her mind ever since they met. But her feelings had gotten stronger only recently, so much so, she thought at one point that she might be in love, but had quickly dismissed the idea.

Now as she sat across from him at her desk she decided that she needed to do something about it. She couldn't just brush it off like she had been doing her whole life. For once she would listen to her feelings.

Hours later, after everyone had gone home, Ziva found herself on her way over to Tonys apartment. She wasn't sure what she was going to say, and at one point considered turning around and going home, but something inside her kept pulling her to him.

At his apartment her heart was beating a hundred miles a minute. She changed her mind once again and was just on her way out when she heard his voice behind her.

"Ziva?" His voice made her feel all warm inside and she couldn't help but smile as she turned to face him.

"Are you okay? Is something wrong? You've been acting strange all day" The look of concern on his sweet face made up her mind for her.

"If there's something wrong you can tell me…"

"No, no, Tony, everything is fine" she said, snapping back to reality. "It's just…" she started, not knowing what to say.

"It's just what? Ziva?"

Unable to find the right words to say, she panicked and turned to leave.

"Ziva, wait!" Tony grabbed her arm, spinning her around to face him. Their eyes locked immediately. Tonys hand on her arm sent a tingling sensation run down Zivas spine. Her eyes fell to where it rested on her arm and then wandered back up to his face.

Getting the wrong message, he removed his hand and quickly apologised.

"No, it's fine" she reassured him softly, placing her own hand on his arm, mimicking his previous actions. He stood staring down at her confused. Ignoring the look on his face, Ziva wrapped his arms around her waist and her own around his neck. Then she stepped onto her tiptoes and placed a delicate kiss on his lips. When he doesn't react straight away she starts to pull back, her face flushing a bright red from embarrassment. Before she manages to move out of his reach however, he pulls her back to him, encircling her in a warm embrace and kissing her deeply. She reaches her hands up once more and holds his face to hers. His lips melt into hers immediately. She opens her mouth slightly and tugs at his lip with her teeth. He replies by opening his mouth for her and kissing her harder. His hands make their way up her body to her face where he cups her cheek and tangles his fingers in her wild hair.

All of a sudden a smile spread across Zivas face. She had been dreaming about this moment for ages now and now it was finally happening.

Seeing her smile, Tony smiled down at her too and placed a gentle kiss on her soft lips. Then he reached, laced his fingers with hers and led her towards the bedroom.
