She could never describe the immense pain exploding in her chest cavity, because she'd have to use words like heart and feelings. Of course, she didn't want to, because those words were extremely irrelevant to describing her at any circumstance whatsoever, because she had neither. At least, that she knew of. And why would she need a way to describe it to anyone anyways? No one ever asked if she was okay, because she always maintained a calm and sunny demeanor. If anyone ever asked how she was, she'd reply with the casual, "I'm great." Her tone never faltered and it always gave off a bright disposition, even though whenever she was asked, she was breaking on the inside. It was all because of that one blond boy. He didn't know who she was. That was the intention, yes, but that doesn't mean it didn't hurt her. When they first spoke after his amnesia, it made her fall into a million pieces. It wasn't his fault, though. He was innocent, he didn't do anything wrong.
"Hello, Roxas," Naminé said cheerily to him.
"Uh... hi," he replied a bit awkwardly and confused. "And you are—?"
Of course he doesn't remember. Act casual, Naminé... She extended her hand outward and interrupted him. Then retracting said hand and intertwining both of her hands together, she said, "I wanted to meet you, at least once."
"Me?" Why she would desire to meet him, whoever she was, he had no clue. And how she knew him left him confused as well.
"Yes, you," she confirmed. Roxas scratched the back of his head, as Naminé then turned and began walking away. She knew he must've found it odd for her to just freeze time and appear, then walk off a minute later. But she didn't mind, as long as he got to see her, all would be well. At least, that's what others thought.
All was not well. She returned to Castle Oblivion and distracted herself by drawing in her sketchbook. She couldn't handle the excruciating pain his amnesia had caused her. So now she sits at the long table, unfamiliar liquid dripping from her cerulean eyes as she thought of him, waiting for him to arrive.
But he never did.
AN: I'm sorry if this was too depressing! And I'm kinda bummed that THIS was my first fanfic, but I have another coming up soon! Stay tuned! If there's even anyone reading this... c:
