Okay. FINALLY I'm writing a brand new sequel to Secret Love. I hope you guys enjoy this one as much as the first one! Here we go, with more songs I've written, more drama, more Smitchie, more Jella, and possibly more Neska or Natarina! Let's get this STARTED!
Summary: Shane and Mitchie are now broken from their Secret Love of the summer. Shane has to go on his world tour with Tiffany and Melissa, while Mitchie has to stay home for school. No one knows about Smitchie, but they're both Secretly Loving the other.
Disclaimer: I do not own Camp Rock. I do not own any of its characters. I am a failure. Haha. I do own this little excerpt of my song called Escape, which I do not intend to have you steal. I hope you like this one- it's one of my favorites.
Mitchie Torres looked over at the picture on her nightstand and sighed. It's been 3 days since she broke up with Shane. Well, it's actually been 3 days, 7 hours, 27 minutes, and 37 seconds, but who's counting? Mitchie sighed again and looked away from the picture. Words started to form in her mind.
Here we are again,
Escape is in our heads,
Wishing the music of our hearts would take us away,
Wishing we could fly away,
Never to be left alone,
A place we can call home.
Shane, why did I do this? she thought. It's for his own good. He shouldn't be busy worrying about me. He should be enjoying his world tour. My job's done. He's back to his kind, loveable self. I did what I had to do. I love him to death, but I had to let him go. With those thoughts, Mitchie had tears forming, but she fell asleep before they could fall.
On what felt like the other side of the world, in Sydney, Australia, it was 2 PM. (a/n I'm sorry if it's wrong, but I suck at math.) Sure, he's proud that his band finally got its world tour, but he misses his Mitchie. Mitchie was his light- his everything. I can't go on without her forever. I love her too much. No. I promised I'd wait. I just hope I'm not waiting for another heartbreak. He thought as he sipped his Skybucks Coffee. Some lyrics popped into his head.
Here we go again,
Things were better left unsaid,
Now I keep wonderin',
Should I have left instead?
With or without any sense,
My life is now mine to defend.
"Shane! Sound check! Let's go!" Nate called. Shane glanced at him and saw his phone in his hand.
"Yeah, I know," he said, sounding a little depressed.
"Shane, I know you miss Mitchie, but Jase and I miss her too. She was like a sister to us. We all know that "Smitchie" was the definition of true love, but we can't do anything about it. I'm sorry. Jase and I miss Francesca and Ella, too," he said, trying to help his brother out.
"Yeah. I know. Let's… Let's just go," Shane said and they left.
Okay, that was a really depressing chapter, but it was the FIRST CHAPTER! How did you like it? Was it better or worse than the first version? These questions need to be answered! And what do you think should happen next?
Thanks for reading!
