Hey guys!
I was planning on posting this one a long time ago, but I don't know why I didn't. Anyways, here it is. It's January but a holiday oneshot won't hurt right? *smirks* Pleasee, if you've read it, let me know whether you liked this or not by leaving your review. Thank you so much! Enjoy it ;)

Blair glanced through the window of her room. The snow filled every corner of the streets, and the top of the trees looked like giant white clouds. It was 11:45 pm, on December 31th
The loud music and people's laughter coming from the ball room came through the walls, but she didn't feel like joining the party. A new year was starting like an old one, why would she want to celebrate?
Blair looked at her Hermès watch - now there were twenty eight minutes left to midnight. Wouldn't he even show up? Not even for Lily, for Serena? For me?
She rested her forehead on the window's glass and blinked, fighting against a stubborn tear. The tear fell down on her light blue silk J. Crew dress, leaving a dark little stain on the delicate fabric. Blair pressed her thumb carefully on her eye and cleaned up the second tear that was threatening to fall. She didn't want to cry. She just wanted to stay there, watching, waiting for a dark limo to pull up to the curb and him to come out, holding a bouquet of pink peonies
"B!" Serena opened the door "Come with us! We're getting ready to the count down!"
"Blair forced a smile and glanced towards her blonde and happy best friend.
"I'm coming" And she couldn't help herself "Is Chuck here?"
"Oh" Serena frowned "I haven't seen him, Blair. Sorry."
"It's alright. You can go, I'll just... finish a few things here."
Serena nodded, and with one last glance, she left the room. Blair went back to her previous position by the window. Now there were only ten minutes left.
She rewound everything that had happened between them in her memory. The tough break up, the way he broke her heart, then a fervent declaration of war, a truce and one last "I love you" whispered on the sidewalk in front of the Empire. It didn't matter what happened, they would always find their way back to each other. Blair ran her fingers through the waves of her chestnut hair. She knew he would come...
Again, someone knocked on the door.
"Blair?" Nate stuck his head out from behind the door "Five minutes!"
"I know. I'm on my way."
""But we..."
"I'm coming, Nate" Blair cut him off, throwing him a brief glance. He shrugged and left.
More snow fell down on the sidewalks. Two teenagers were walking down the streets, a girl with brown hair and a boy wearing a red and white scarf, throwing snow balls at each other. For a moment, Blair felt jealous. She wanted that simple joy for her.
One minute. Fifty nine, fifty eight, fifty seven, fifty six...
Someone pressed a delicate kiss on her exposed neck. A beautiful bouquet of pink peonies landed on her lap and the smell of cologne, scotch and Merit Ultra Light invaded her nostrils. A huge smile appeared on her face and she turned towards him.
"You came." Blair whispered. Chuck smiled lightly and cupped her left cheek with his hand. Her skin was so soft...
"I did" He nodded and pressed his lips gently against hers. They shared a long and sweet kiss while the voices out there yelled, excited.
Five, four, three, two, one...
"Happy new year, Blair."
"Happy new year, Chuck."
