Seeing the ship approach, that should have sent off warning bells but, it didn't. They didn't go off until three people were dead and two were fighting for their lives. It was only then I back away, watching from a distance as the events took place. I watched as the men from the dueled, for rank I'm assuming.
One man fought clean, well, cleaner than the other.
I only approached when one man claimed victory. "You keep what you kill." and left in the ship. It was then my curiosity got the best of me and I moved to the clearing. I moved so I was at the edge of the man made cliff and I looked down, spotting the lost man's hand.
He's either dead or very close to it. I thought, so, I searched for a way down. I really don't know why I wanted to help the man. I've never helped, they would never help me in the long run. I slid down a well made path of mine that took my very close to the rocks.
I would wait, wait and see if he lived or died. I would help this man if he lived. Something, I'm guessing instinct told me he would be an excellent ally, if he didn't kill me first.
For all my fans of Animal I have become, I have decided to take my character from the story and use her in the new Riddick movie. I just got done watching it and I can use the open ending to my advantage. Plus, I really do like this story line, even if it does mirror Pitch Black.
I would like your opinions of the opening.
