—love lust, king charles
"Find me," she whispers, her jade eyes pulling you in and daring you to be so much more than you'll ever be, yet still not as glorious as her, because she's Lily Luna Potter and didn't you know that she was sculpted by the gods.
She is God's masterpiece – a canvas of honey coloured skin carved into a dainty yet strong figure of sloping collarbones and chiselled cheekbones; waving copper hair and elegant hands; wit and grace. She is Lily and she was never, ever going to be anything less than extraordinary – she's the inferno girl, whose soul blazes as brightly as her hair and whose heart beats and rages to its own pace because she wasn't born to be a follower. She was born to lead.
"Chase me," she whispers, her laugh playful and enticing – daring you to take another step closer to this beautiful, perilous girl and daring you to edge your way closer to the blazing fire of her heart.
Little boys that play with fire get their fingers burnt but she's worth every blistered patch of skin and broken heart – you would walk over hot coals for eternity just to hold her hand in yours and promise to never let go – you wouldn't want to miss one moment of her life, which will surely go down in legends, because when you're with her, you swear that perhaps you could be invincible too.
"Love me," she whispers, as you lie side by side, clutching her passionate heart between fingers that will never loosen their grip.
And, you hold on tighter still and you swear to love her and hold her forevermore because she is Lily and when you're with her, you think that maybe you're a masterpiece too.
You're no believer, but, honey, you could believe in every breath she breathes and every step she takes.
(all my work is becoming more drabble-like as of late, and i apologise and assure you that i do have some longer pieces coming up, please do not favourite without reviewing, thank you.)
