Fair warning: At the time I wrote this, I hadn't slept for over 24 hours and I had just finished watching all of Nanbaka for the first time. Coincidently it was my first anime. Next time I won't do an all-nighter. I'm sorry for any mistakes that may pop up. You may be wondering why I wrote this then. Well it's for someone, someone who may not even read this. They inspired me to watch the anime and now I've written in response. So, thank you to that person and to you for reading this. Enjoy!
A man in a uniform walked down a grass path, trees to his left and right. He was alert, preparing for an attack at all times. A supervisor always had to be on high alert. A rustle to his left put him on the attack, and he headed straight for the source. Pushing aside the bushes, he found a black cat. It meowed at him, before rubbing against his legs. Hajime started an immediate conversation with himself within his own mind. I can't leave this cat out here all alone. But I also can't take it to my apartment. Maybe I could give it to another member of the staff? Or should I just leave it here? But if I do that then it may die. But if I give it to one of the guards then there's no way of telling what they'll do. I could smuggle it into my apartment, but I'd be caught quickly. What should I do? As he had been thinking, he had been walking. He had made it all the way to the guard room, the cat following him. Once he realized where he was, his eyes rested on the cat, before then landing on a guard hat. His eyes kept on going back and forth between the two before he finally placed the hat on the cat. There we go, now it's a guard. He pet the cat, doing so twice before straightening himself up. "I'll name you Kuu. Now come with me, you need to learn how to run this place." Hajime walked out of the room, Kuu trailing behind him.
