I, again, have Andrew to thank for introducing me to Pan's Labyrinth. I did not like this film, particularly the final few moments. The audience would have felt much better if things had ended in the alternate realm and we had not been forced to see the girl lying there bleeding and dying. Nevertheless, the cinematography, dialogue, and special effects for the fantasy sequences were wonderful. I adored the music as well. This song is set to the musical piece at the end that is also the music that the nursemaid was humming. I loved the tune and have written this for both Spanish speakers and English. Alas, I do not have a computer that compensates for all of the tilde's and accents over words in Espan^ol or Castellano. Please remember that not everything will translate directly from one language to another, and that for timing purposes, some words may be added or taken away in either tongue. Enjoy!

Moonchild's Lullaby:

Spanish:

Baila con mi en la noche. (Dance with me in the night)

Por la noche vamos a son^ar. (Tonight we will dream)

Bailamos entre estrellas y la luna y las luces. (We dance withing the stars, the moon, the lights)

Despues vamos a, (Then we will)

Escuchar la musica del amor. (Listen to the music of love)

Y vamos a estar conjuntos para siempre, (And we will be together always)

Un retrato de las alegrias verdaderas. (A portrait of true happiness)

English:

Come and join me as I dance tonight.

For together we shall sweetly dream.

We shall dance among the moon and stars, the stars, all heaven's light.

Then, then we shall hear, hear the sweet music,

Music of purest love.

And we shall be together for all time,

A perfect portrait of happiness truly; oh, my darling.
