Soulless Roses
Mark this craved day
When love is ultimately confronted
When reality is conquered and we truly become
Shades, blessed, dropping from the skies surrounding us
Perfection
Innocence in a white
Beauty in rouge.
A blood red and consuming darkness from shadows
Drowning in red, twisting its way into your heart
Would you not gasp for air if you could breath?
These petals take your breath away...
The same blood red spilling dangerously from lips saturated with truth and lies
A chill residing where once was warmth
A bed of roses does little to comfort
And there is no comfort in your struggling form
The scent is intoxicating
One moment and darkness will gather to steal you
Anon I am breathless
You're gone.
Blood and tears blacken the innocence and beauty
And life wilts beneath a crushed love
A/n: Sorry for the random stanzas, I just wanted to split it up for some weird reason. Anyway, I hope you like it. When I was writing it I was going for symbolism comparing Satine's death to the roses falling about her. Really quite sad. Sorry to say I'm still not over that. But anyway, review if you like. I would really, really apreciate some constructive criticism, I'm definitely looking for ways to improve!!
