My first Pong fic. Please read and review!

Disclaimer: I don't own PONG. It's not mine. So there.

In the Beginning...

Left Paddle walked down the street. It happened to bump into his arch nemesis, Right Paddle.

"What business have you here?" Left Paddle said accusingly. Right Paddle felt his rage rise from within the depths of his being.

"I'm a paddle, also. I have every right to walk the path of the paddle with you," Right Paddle eyed him angrily. "SEGREGATION IS HATE! HATE IS PAIN! PAIN IS DEATH!"

Left Paddle got into a ready position, which is the same way as all other positions since he is a straight segment. Suddenly, realization hit him like a small white ball. "Wait a moment," it said fearfully. "...YOU'RE ONE OF THEM...!"

All of a sudden, a small white ball came bouncing around the corner of Peace Ave. It saw the pair of paddles. They were arguing, yet they were the same. White Ball contemplated for a time, then yelled at the top of his... vocal capacity. "YOU'RE ALL THE SAME! WHY CAN'T WE ALL GET ALONG? WHY? WHY I ASK YOU?! WHY?"

Both Left Paddle and Right Paddle stared at White Ball for the longest time, as if trying to decipher his message. They turned to each other and nodded in agreement. Left Paddle waddled over to the left side of White Ball while Right Paddle waddled to its right side.

They both started to gang up on White Ball, using their paddle-like strength to hit White Ball with all their might. This went on until White Ball was launched far, far away. This shall now be known as the game of Pong.

The two paddles only joined together because of their common enemy. We can only unite if we have an enemy. Someone must be beaten DOWN. War, segregation, pain and hatred are ALL inevitable. Let this allegory be a warning for future generations.
