Chapter 1: The All-Mothers Hound

Once upon a time there was a God and his beautiful, faithful wife.

Once upon a time she died...or so they thought.

He gasped awake, his eyes wide as he panted in his bed and clutched his chest and looked around frantically as his head spun dizzily.

He ran his fingers threw his medium length black hair which was damp with sweat and leaned his head in his hand,"It was just a dream Loki...an unfortunate dream...an unfortunate past." He mutter to himself.

He reached over and turned on his desk lamp and looked around the large apartment then rubbed his sleepy eyes. The clock read 8:45 am but it felt as if it were much earlier. How agonizing. He stood up and headed into the kitchen and started on some eggs and bacon, not bothering to put pants on or a shirt. He was content in his black boxers, why not show off his beautiful young body while he still had it even if he was the only one in his apartment. He yawned and looked down at his eggs, a bit surprised when they suddenly rose up, still raw of course, and began to make the form of The All-Mother.

Loki let out a heat sigh,"Good morning All-Mother." He mumbled with a bit of a cross face.

"Loki. We need your assistance." His step-mother said pointedly.

Loki rose an eyebrow at her,"Straight to the point today are we?" He asked with a bit of a smart-ass smirk.

"Do you accept or not Loki." She hissed, getting a bit in his face.

"Yes. Now what is it?"

"Lorelei." She said simply.

"It is time she returns home instead of reeking havoc on Midgard." Freya interjected.

Loki sighed and crossed his arms, looking away,"Very well." He said softly. He wasn't happy about handing his former lover and partner-in-crime over to The All-Mother and the Valkyrie but he had to.

"Don't forget Loki; for every deed you do one of your crimes disappears from the records."Freya said before The All-mother disappeared and the eggs fell back into the pan.

Loki sighed softly and ran and ran his fingers threw his hair again. Working for the All-Mother was already starting to be inconvenient but he was sick of being the bad guy, sick of being hated. After all being the sexy, bad guy was a lot of hard work even for a God. I mean his ways were unconventional and he defiantly still broke rules but he was good, he could be good just like she wanted him to be. He wasn't the same Loki anymore, thanks to The All-Mother and Thor he could be new, reborn. The thought of that made him smile a bit and he finished cooking his breakfast and sat down to eat before getting dressed in black jeans and a green shirt with a black leather jacket over it and a pair of sensible shoes. He smiled at himself in the mirror and ran his fingers threw his hair again and bit his lip gently.

"Here goes nothing." He said before heading out the glass window and snapping his finger once before literally walking on air.

He chuckled,"I love being a God."
