Hot Chocolate's good for the soul
Harry had been down this street too many times to count. He walked down it pretty much everyday to get to his classes. This time the weather decided it would be awesome to have a snow storm. Harry didn't think it was awesome, Harry thought it was actually pretty bad. He could hardly see his hand in front of his face, and he was already late for class.
Just as he was passing the door to a coffee shop his phone rang. He dug into his pocket and pressed himself against the wall in hope of some protection from the raging wind.
"Hello?"
"Harry?"
"Hermione?" He was almost yelling over the wind.
"Harry, are you going to class?"
"Yes, of course, I'm on my way now!"
"No, Harry, classes have been cancelled!"
"Shit really?"
"Would I lie to you?"
"Crap, well I've got to go Hermione, I can hardly hear you."
"Alright Harry, be safe."
Harry sighed and leaned against the wall. It was only 8 am and today already sucked. He was cold, wet, and officially had nowhere to go. He could go home, but it was rather far away. School was closer, but since classes were cancelled that wasn't an option.
Just when he thought all hope was lost, he felt a hand on his shoulder. Startled, he jumped and turned around. To his right he saw a figure beckoning him into the coffee shop. With nothing else to lose he followed it in.
The warm air felt great on Harry's chilled face. He took off his gloves and ran his hands through his now soaking wet hair.
"Hey" Said the figure
"Hi" said Harry, and a tad shyly added, "Thanks"
"No problem, you looked like you could use some help."
Out of the wind and snow, Harry finally got a good look at his savior. He was relatively tall, around Harry's own age. Had messy blonde hair and blue eyes. Harry wondered if he went to school.
"So what's your name?" Harry blushed when he realised he had been staring.
"Harry, and you?'
"Draco."
They stood there in an awkward silence for a while, Draco leaning against the counter, Harry against the door.
"So whatcha doing out?" Draco asked
"Going to class, but it was cancelled, so…"
"You can stay here for a bit if you want, we're closed but it's not like there's anything else better to do." The blonde boy said, rubbing his hand on the back of his neck.
"Sure, thanks."
Harry took off his coat and sat down at the nearest table.
"If you're closed, what are you doing here?"
