A Year Without Rain

The sun beat down violently on the blond.

He was in the Alabasta desert, walking on the sand alone.

The crew had separated after the three admirals had attacked them.

It had been five years since the Straw Hat cook had seen Zoro.

Every minute no matter what I do, my world is an empty place.

Sanji had been so lonely.

He had seen women, but he never got excited.

His heart was on the idiot swordsman.

A day without you is like a year without rain.

Tears silently fell down his face.

He missed Zoro so much, and wished he could have told him how he felt.

Sanji was just afraid Zoro would turn him down and make fun of him.

But now, stuck in the deadly desert, it didn't matter anymore.

He stopped walking.

He just couldn't take it no more.

The memories of them came back in a sudden rush, he cried out in agony.

He wanted the swordsman, no matter if he would beat him to a pulp.

Sanji just wanted Zoro in his presence.

Walking towards him was someone hidden beneath several layers of clothing.

His structure looked big, meaning he worked out.

Apparently, he had noticed Sanji's outburst.

Don't know if it's a mirage but i always see your face.

The blond felt ashamed, allowing his emotions to take over like that.

The person stopped right in front of him.

His hand rested on his shoulders.

They were warm and comforting.

"Sanji?" The person asked.

Sanji recognized it, his heart skipping a beat.

I'm missing you so much, can't help it I'm in love.

It was Zoro.

Zoro seemed confused at the sudden reaction he was getting from the cook.

"Oi, ero-cook?" He asked.

Sanji buried his head in his chest, letting the tears fall freely.

Now the swordsman was really confused.

"I missed you so much!" Sanji suddenly blurted out.

He didn't know how to react and that made Sanji take it the wrong way.

The cook took a few steps back, looking like he was ready to bolt.

Zoro defiantly freaked him out.

He wrapped his arms around the blond, pulling him close and whispering, "I missed you, too."

Sanji was completely shocked.

Zoro leaned in and kissed him.

He didn't totally hate him after all.

Then, some miraculous happened.

The desert filled with rain.

And the two lovers stood in the embraces,

just happy.

So let this drought come to an end

And make this desert flower again

I'm so glad you found me

Stick around me

Baby, baby, baby, oh

It's a world of wonder with you in my life

Still hurting baby

Don't waste no more time

And I need you here

I can't explain

But a day without you

Is like a year without rain

How did you like it?

Came up with it randomly while listening to Selena.
