Disclaimer: Hmm what could be thoughs dreadful words I'm looking for, oh, yes, I don't own Naruto T.T
A.N. Alright guys I never mentioned this story in the ones I was working on, just a small one the popped into my head so I decided to get it out of they, quite frankly I thought I t was pretty cute.
Itachi sat in the feathery grasses of the meadow, under a giant coral tree. He stayed silent, treasuring the astonishing sight in front of him, everything reminding him of her…..everything. He was using all his senses, studying the place of brilliance.
The tall grasses tickled like her gentle touch.
The wonderful flowers as bright as her hair, their aroma as delightful as her sweet scent.
The beautiful sky, as blue as her eyes and as pure as her spirit.
The tree behind him, nothing but a small seedling at first, but over time grew into a giant, beautiful, magnificent wonder, just as she in the end.
The soft breeze as tender, as soft as her pleasant soul.
The sound of the river farther off in the distance, soothing like her kind voice, letting him know soon the madness would end and everything would be alright..
The sun as warm as her heart, the heat embracing him, just as she had done when he was frightened or sad, or to make him know he wasn't alone in this world of war. (A.N. What madness the Uchiha prodigy can be scared 0.0)
The small animals chattering, just as she had done all the time, always having new exciting, stories to tell.
Everything around him working hard, fighting to survive, protecting only themselves, which was something she had never understood and she would never be able to understand.
But those single things in nature that protected their family, loved ones… even friends before they tried to defend themselves, is the person she was.
The leaves of the tree, stained red, just as her hands had been after many battles, just as she had been after her last battle.
And the large grey stone that was planted in the ground next to him, decorated with bright items of many different kinds to represent her cheerful personality, is where her soul lie now.
Waiting quietly, patiently for him to join her. Her eyes still bright, happy, calm and filled with love.
This is where her soul lies, resting, her sprit lies in the meadow, in this place she is never to be forgotten. This is the place he met her, this is the place he trained her, this is the place he realized he loved her, this is the place he kissed her, this is the place….where she died.
Although it would be years before she would see him again, she knew she wasn't alone and never would be, not in this meadow of memories.
A.N. So what did you think! :) it made me almost cry writing it, I think this is one of my best writings yet, I know it was very short, but it was meant to be. I'm not to sure what to put it under lol. I hope you all enjoyed it as much as me! Please review I'll love you forever, pretty please?
