My sister gave me a simple prompt, "I want a story about Wild Tiger and Superboy! Since they basically have the same powers"

My mind gave birth to this. It's not much, just a simple drabble thingy. Just pretend that Superboy accidently destroyed something and Batman steps in and because Superman is uneasy about the whole clone thing they get another hero to help out. Since Superboy is a clone of Superman and Superman has the strength of over a hundred men but Superboy doesn't have the same strength as Superman, Kotetsu is slightly weaker than Superboy but he's more experienced.

FYI, this is an AU

Young Justice and Tiger&Bunny is not mine!

He's been told before, on multiple occasions, to keep his temper in check. He's always known he doesn't have complete control over his strength. Sometimes it scares him, it scares him that he could hurt someone so easily or worst. There are moments, very few moments, where he loses his temper and his strength.

It's frightening.

It's frightening when he can feel the dented metal curving perfectly to his fist, it's scary when he feels the dirt and rocks and concrete fall around him, and it's even scarier watching his teammates' faces when he loses it and the way they wearily step back and shift his stances to run away.

The man in front of him, his suppose mentor, leaned closer to his ear, his slick black hair with spiked ends slightly brushed his face. Amber eyes sharpen and Conner was reminded of the tiger in one of their missions, the mask that covered the upper portion of his face heighten the effects. Conner's fist was mere inches from the man's face and with a slight pang of fright Conner realized if he had hit the man, he would have died. No human could withstand a punch from Superman on all his strength, and even if Conner was a cheap clone of the Man of Steel, his strength was still stronger than any human.

"It's scary," the man's thick accent slurred the words but Conner could still understand, "the ability to break anything. To hurt anyone. Without even meaning too. Without any control."

The man raised a hand and gripped Conner's biceps lightly, it was a reassuring gesture, the teen boy realized. Superboy was a clone of Superman, but without the powers of Superman. What was the limit of his strength? What was the limit of his endurance? What was his limit? Conner pulled his fist back, the metal groaned and rumble fell on them. Pebbles landing on the foreigner's broad shoulders, his green shirt and white and black vest getting dirtier.

"But I can teach you," the man smiled gently, his amber eyes soften as he pulled back. With another squeeze the man let go of the boy and stepped away. He bent down to pick up his hat that had apparently fallen during their confrontation and walked down the hall towards the training room. Conner watched as the man continued to walk and was quickly joined by his blond companion who glowed a faint blue and glared at him furiously (he could have sworn his eyes were green, but why do they seem blue?). Their hushed whispers reached his highly sensitive ears, it might also be mentioned that the g-gnomes may have taught him, say, five different languages. Maybe more.

"Wasn't I cool?" the dark skinned elbowed his partner.

"Sure, old man." Sarcasm dripped heavily from the blonde's tone.

"You're just jealous." Wild Tiger crossed his arms. Even without looking, Conner could tell the blond man was rolling his eyes, an expression quite common in the Young Justice team, and it no doubt held a similar smile.

Hesitantly, Conner followed the duo.

Who knows, maybe if Superboy trained with these two and proved himself, maybe Superman would finally notice him.

God, I hope this wasn't too crappy. Please excuse any spelling and grammar errors and send me any messages regarding such errors.
