When the train stopped for the fifth time in the last ten minutes, Bella decided that this, is officially the worst ride ever.

Bella went to her cousin Jenis who lived in Carlinville. She had to admit, Carlinville surely was different from L.A. Her current home.

Like it wasn't bad enough that the train was crowded with people and screaming babies, she was hungry, freezing and tired. Worst, the bathroom was occupied. And she felt that if she's not getting into this bathroom right now, someone's going down.

Finally, when she got into the tiny, stinky booth and sat on the toilet, the door suddenly opened.

On the other side, a young man stood, his green eyes wide open while he's staring at Bella.

"shut the frigging door" she said, finding her voice suddenly.

The guy quickly pushed the button, and closed the door.

Bella felt her heart racing and the heat spreading through her body.

Yup, definitely the worst ride ever.

When she was done splashing her face with water, she opened the door, and was glad to find an empty rail. She took a deep breath and closed the door behind her.

Out of nowhere the young guy stood in front of her, blocking her way.

"Hey, listen I'm so sorry...I mean, seriously" he looked down, like he's disappointed that he can't even say "I'm sorry" right.

Bella kinda wished that she'd never see the man again. Ever. It's not nice when your embarrassments gets pulled up in your face. And this guy, was one hell of embarrassment.

And he made it even more embarrassing, by apologizing. She just wanted to pretend like it never happened.

She just mumbled "It's okay" and got back to her seat.

Jenis better made her favorite food. She really needs it right now.

Bella sat next to an old wooden table. A smell of fresh flowers filled the air.

Jenis wore red corduroy pants, white "peace" tank top, and a blue hair band.

"You're making a big deal out of it" Jenis said when Bella told her about the incident.

"I'm sure this guy, whoever he is, doesn't even remember it. Unless he's a perv or something..." she laughed.

"With my luck, I'm sure he is. He's probably looking for me right now" she cringed.

"Maybe he's going to knock on the door now" Jenis suggested, smiling widely.

"It's not funny!" Bella protested, but a small smile starched on her lips.

While Jenis got into the kitchen, washing the dishes, someone knocked on the wooden door.

Bella looked at Jenis with wide open eyes. Fear running through her.

"God Jenis. You and your big mouth"

Jenis wiped her hands, looking at the hallway.

"Chill" she called walking to the door.

Bella put her hands on the gray kitchen counter. Could it be that Carlinville gives Bella bad luck? Because how many bad thing can happen in 24 hours. Actually, she shouldn't have asked. She really doesn't want to know.

"Hello Mr. Dail" she heard Jenis's voice. She breath in, relaxing. She picked through the kitchen into the hall.

She saw an old man wearing a gray sweater, khaki pants and a brown hat to his head. He gave Jenis a newspaper.

"Hi Jenis. I've noticed that you forgot to pick up your newspaper today. So I though I'd bring it to you"

"Thanks Mr. Dail"

"No problem Jenis. Have a good day" he said, taping his hat.

"Thanks. Have a good day" she closed the door, and made her way into the kitchen, laughing out loud.

When she saw the look on Jenis's face, she laughed even louder.

"L.A makes paranoid ,doll"
