She appeared from out of the forest looking like a wingless angel. She was wearing a white strapless cotton dress and silver ballet shoes. Her bronze ringlets were pulled back showing more of her flawlessly exquisite face. She looked spectacular and even that was an understatement. No amount of words could describe the beauty that shone from her. She didn't notice me at first standing where I was; she strolled over to the lake and lay down next to the edge. Also from where I was I noticed an immense dark shadow emerging from the far edge of the forest. I slipped into a crouch ready to pounce if it dared to move an inch to close to her. My help however wasn't needed. Renesmee shifted her weight to the left and sniffed the air delicately. Her eyes flew open and a wide smile light up her face. The creature moved closer to her stepping into the light. I sucked in a shocked breath. It was Seth!

Why did she look so pleased to see him? How did she recognise him immediately in his wolf form? Why could he stand so freely in front of her, when I was forbidden to phase anywhere near her? All of these questions and so many more ran through my head at this unbelievable and unpredictable moment. Seth inclined his head towards the forest. Nessie giggled at him and nodded. He loped off into the forest and appeared and few minutes later in his human form. She walked forward to meet him and he took her in his arms and kissed her ardently. A tremor ripped through me and I burst in mid air. Then I was running where I didn't know and frankly I didn't care.

I stopped running only when the sun started to set behind the trees and the night began to draw in. I collapsed against the side of a large oak tree and I heard Seth join the thoughts in my head.

"Jake, man, I'm so sorry... I... "Seth started

"Just shut it Seth, I'm not interested."I responded acid leaking into my thoughts

"But I'm just trying to explain how really sorry I am. Nessie's really cut up as well; she's been crying ever since you saw us the forest."

"Well, I am sorry" I replied sarcasm heavy in my thoughts "How really devastating it must be for you! Just go away Seth I don't want to listen to you."

"Well, that's just too bad because you have to." Seth began
"To hell I do. I only have to listen to members of my pack and since I no longer consider you as a member of my pack. I shouldn't have to put up with your prattling any longer."

"Jake, I..." Seth started. Then his thoughts cut off and my head was once again silent.
