One average morning in the park, Mordecai, as usual, woke up to the sound of a blaring alarm clock. He yawned in his bed and stretched a little, and with the sun coming in through the window, he smiled a little and knew it would be a great day. Then he glanced over at Rigby, still snoring, and figured there was still a few more minutes for him to sleep.
He trudged downstairs and got out the milk and cereal. Just like every day, he poured a bowl for both him and Rigby. He ran back upstairs and threw a pillow at him.
"Owww! Dude, what was that for?" He whined.
"It's time to get up. I made you cereal."
"Okay, okay. Fine."
He rolled off the trampoline to Mordecai's feet and rubbed his eyes. Then he stood up and wearily walked downstairs along with his friend.
While they were busy eating cereal, the phone went off.
"I'll get it," Said Mordecai.
He picked up the home phone.
"Hey Mordecai!" A voice said. He almost did a spit out his food. It was his sister, Cynthia! He groaned and swallowed his cereal.
"Hey, Cynthia."
"I'm coming to town this week, and I just wanted to stop by the park! In fact, is there a room available? Not to sound pushy, but I just blah blah blah blah blah…"
"Uh, sure." He said grumpily, but of course she couldn't tell.
"Okay! I'll be here with my things tomorrow at three. Could you help me unpack my stuff?"
"Yeah."
"Thanks so much, Mordie! Also, I look forward to seeing Margaret again. And Rigby. He's funny! Well, any who, I'll call you later. Bye!"
"Goodbye, I guess."
Mordie? Was she serious?
"Who was that?" Asked Rigby, already done with his breakfast.
"It was my sister. She's coming into town and wants to stay here the week. In fact, she's coming tomorrow."
"Cynthia? Oh, yeah! She's awesome!"
"No she's not. She won't shut up. That's why I always hung out with Don so much as a kid because she would always try to dress me up and crap."
"Oh, come on, man! It won't be that bad!"
"I guess not. I guess I miss her a little." He smiled and tried to lighten up.
"There ya go!"
And so Mordecai and Rigby cleaned the house (without being asked, to the amazement and suspicion of Benson) to make it look better for Cynthia.
