A/N: Those damn pictures of Darren in red pants surfaced and I couldn't sleep until I wrote this. I wrote it at like 3 a.m. mind you, so there might be some little mistakes that I missed. Sorry about that, please don't let that discourage you from reading it though.
Disclaimer: I do NOT own Glee. I'm just a fan.
Blaine rang the doorbell of the Hummel household, fidgeting some as he pulled at his street clothes. This was the first time since 8th grade he was wearing something other than a uniform to school.
The front door opened to reveal Carole Hummel who beamed at him, "Blaine sweetheart, come on in. Kurt's just about ready."
He followed Carole into the kitchen to find a half dead looking Finn who was feebly attempting to shovel cereal into his mouth with his eyes shut tight. Burt sat across from his stepson and shot Blaine a look; it was the same look he'd been giving the teen since they'd met, one of intimidation yet caring.
"Moring Burt, Finn."
Burt responded with a gruff 'morning' while Finn mumbled something incoherent under his breath.
"Finn! Manners, young man." Carole scolded with a light slap on the teen's arm. "Blaine hun, did you eat breakfast?"
"Too. Early," Finn groaned as Blaine shook his head.
"Well grab a banana or something, eat it on the way. Finn get your butt in gear. I want to get there before the Neanderthals, they are not ruining my fabulous back to school outfit with a slushie." He spun in a circle for Blaine and his family to give them a better view of his clothes. The outfit was a bit muted for Kurt, apart from the strange jacket type thing he'd been wearing the first time the couple met, but Blaine was grinning ear to ear as his boyfriend twirled around with a distinct look of pride on his face.
Carole let out a whistle of appreciation while Burt told him that he looked great. Blaine got up to give Kurt a kiss, a stream of compliments ready on his lips, but he was interrupted by a gasp.
"What the hell is that? What are you wearing Blaine Christopher?"
Blaine looked down at his outfit; he'd thought he looked good when he left the house this morning, "What's wrong with my outfit? I don't clash today, do I? I'm not wearing black and brown this time!"
"First off, you're wearing man-pris. That's just wrong on so many levels. And are those mine? Those are mine. Why are they so short? What did you do to them?"
"Remember when we got in that food fight while we were making cupcakes? You let me borrow them. I washed them for you but they sorta shrunk."
Kurt looked like he was going to be sick, "Blaine! Those were dry-clean only!"
"Sorry babe. I'll buy you new ones. I promise. Now come on, gotta protect that fabulous outfit you're wearing."
The curly haired teen kept up a long list of compliments all the way to the car and then on the way to school while Finn made soft gagging noises in the backseat but Kurt had tuned out a long time ago. Because as soon as Blaine had turned around in the kitchen and Kurt had gotten a look at the pants from behind, all he could think about was how it might not be a bad idea to 'accidently' shrink some more clothes that he'd give to Blaine since they no longer fit.
A/N: Review? Good or bad, I really would like some feedback here. :)
