Edward Meets Betelgeuse
It All Began As An Ordinary Day
It all began as an ordinary day…well, for Edward that is. You see, pretty much nothing ever happened up in the deserted mansion. Well…it was nearly deserted that is except for one sad, strange, little man (shut up...I know I'm quoting Toy Story). But there were other things about this man that made him different and cut off from the world…he had scissors for hands. This man was Edward; Edward Scissorhands to be exact.
All Edward did was stare out a window or the hole in the roof. Sometimes he thought about the girl he had met down in the town of Suburbia (also known as the Land of the Pastels), Kim. Certainly things had been strange down there and at first she was the only one unsure of him, but soon, she learned to love him and everyone else went wacko (you know the whole, "trying to kill the killer 'cripple'" fiasco though of course he hadn't killed anyone yet; they're just stupid retards).
This day started out the same as any other, but what he didn't know was that it would be even stranger than the "trying to kill the killer 'cripple' " fiasco though of course he hadn't killed anyone yet; they're just stupid retards. Edward woke up from a once again restless sleep and sat in the shadows where he could barely see down into the Land of the Pastels (AKA Suburbia). Today, like any other summer day (although she sat outside whenever the weather was nice enough) he could see Kim sitting outside doing what she pleased. This could range from drawing to listening to the Edward Scissorhands soundtrack, sometimes the Beetlejuice soundtrack. At other times she was reading and still at other times she would just stare at the surroundings and daydream of God knows what (and in this story, we are like god…well, in a way, so we know).
But little did Edward know that soon, or perhaps even at this second, that he was not the only one haunting the mansion. What was coming to haunt it was even more ghostly than our dear friend Edward, who is pale enough to join the Peace Corpse.
Okay, that's the initial presentation. And before I get any reviews (if we get any) asking or informing me that I spelled Peace Corpse wrong and it's really Peace Corps, I'll explain. If you're slow like my partner here, it's a joke that just happens to fit when you add an E to the end of corps. All it means is that a corpse is pale and he is pale enough to be one himself. Kinda hard to explain, so I hope you got that, cuz I really don't feel like trying to explain it again, but I will if I absolutely must.
