Francis sighed as he came home from his job; it was a lot harder as two Betas trying to make it through with one working while the other was pregnant.
Francis worked impossibly longer hours these days and took what jobs he could though it could never change his mind of this being a miracle.
With Betas' lower pregnancy rates, it was a lot rarer for one to get pregnant than for an Omega's pregnancy.
Francis smiled as he walked in to find his Beta husband asleep on the couch, a barely touched bag of chips in front of him.
Francis grinned and gently leaned forward to softly wake up his husband.
Arthur grumbled before curling up against Francis's arms.
"Despite how cute you are, I need you to wake up, so I can make you dinner that you want to eat." Francis grinned as his husband wearily opened his gorgeous, green eyes.
"Can we have fish tonight?" Arthur asked his husband.
"We can." Francis told him as he moved past the couch to begin dinner under Arthur's intent eyes.
He smiled as he pulled out the ingredients for dinner.
"How was work today? I still can't believe they won't let me work for a little while." Arthur grumbled.
"It was fine. And you know they are just worried about you too." Francis told his husand soothingly.
Arthur rolled his eyes, "I'm not a f*cking child."
"You are with child, dear." Francis answered slightly teasingly.
"That doesn't make me one, git." Arthur responded, managing to catch a sweet tone that mirrored Francis's despite his sour attitude.
Francis grinned, "Your pet names for me are so sweet, Arthur."
"It's not a bloody pet name." He growled as he watched his husband start making dinner.
"Whatever you say." Francis teased with a playful wink sent Arthur's way.
Arthur grumbled something very insulting under his breath that Francis couldn't help smiling at despite not hearing a word that his husband had said.
Francis turned his attention back to making a dinner that his pregnant husband wanted.
He knew that Arthur was ready for their child or children to arrive which Francis was eager for too though his reasoning may differ a little from Arthur's as to why.
