So this is a Leo/Piper friendship story. Set during the helicopter ride to the Wolf House in The Lost Hero. I know it's short, so sorry. Enjoy!

Jason strapped himself into the back of the helicopter and passed out almost immediately. Piper and Leo stayed wide awake.

Leo sat at the controls, his fingers tapping out the pattern. Piper climbed into the seat next to him, watching his fingers.

"Why do you do that?" She asked him, pointing to his fingers. He shrugged.

"It's morse-code. Me and my mom used to tap it out to each other before she died. It's just something that comforts me when I feel like no-one is there for me." She nodded, her face deep in thought.

"Can you teach me some?" she asked, and Leo nodded.

He started teaching her the letters and soon she could tap out a message or too, even if they were very slow. He watched her out of the corner of his eye as she tried tapping a message out on her knee. Finally she looked satisfied and turned towards him.

She tapped out her message on the controls. Leo cocked his head to one side, trying to figure it out. Piper kept on tapping and tapping.

He smiled when he solved it. He started tapping out her message also. They kept tapping until they reached the wolf house. Even then, they could still here the message going around their heads.

Here for you. Here for you. Here for you.
