A beautiful sunrise for once and i don't know how to feel about it.
No rain, no bitter cold weather, just the Vice City sky that i always dreamed of seeing. Despite my entire life being Liberty City, i had always dreamed of getting away.
Yes, it was home...it was the only home that i knew but it never really felt like home.
It started out as a dream of a young girl that would wonder what it would be like. If i had to think back, it wasn't the fact that Maria shot her mouth off during a drug induced state that spurred my dream even more.
Yes, people that i once trusted...with my life, they know nothing about loyalty. They were willing to listen to a senile old man who had more power in the Liberty City underworld than he knew what to do with.
'Babe?' Claude says before i look away from the plane window. He doesn't really talk too much. In my sleep deprived state, i didn't realize that the plane had landed at the airport.
Maybe ...no, this is our chance to start over.
I just hope that we know what we're doing.
'Vice City...our new home.' I say before we stand up and grab our duffel bags from the overhead luggage compartment.
He grabs my hand as we walk off of the plane...into our new life together.
