Guess what! A Felix/Bridgette story! With the lovely love square as a feature as well. There is not enough love for the PV characters and so this story was born. It is already fully written, so I promise to have regular updates. Leave a review and let me know how much you love these dorks!

"Felix…pssst! Hey Felix!"

Begrudgingly, Felix lifted his eyes from the classic novel and slowly looked over at his obnoxious classmate. Her eyes were darting to and fro, hiding behind a bookshelf, which was hardly hiding her. Bridgette didn't know the meaning of subtlety. His eyes drifted back to his book after making brief, annoyed eye contact with her.

She took that as an invitation to sit next to him, a slight giggle escaping her, "I have a secret!"

"Clearly. Either keep it to yourself or tell it to someone else."

She pouted, but was used to his sour puss attitudes, "But you'll want to know this secret!"

"Highly unlikely." He closed the book with a snap, "Goodbye Bridgette."

"Hmpf." She watched his retreating form then slumped over on the table. Why did he spurn her so? The seat by her scraped on the floor and she looked up.

"Rejected by Felix again, cousin?" Mari asked, joining her lovesick relative. She patted Bridgette on the head. Bri was older by a year, but people often confused the two. Marinette couldn't see it. Unlike her, Bridgette had no French influence to her features. Her beautiful black hair, with the tint of blue, was much longer than Mari's and her eyes a lighter blue.

"I wasn't even being that overbearing! I didn't even flirt! I was being totally serious. Stop laughing Marinette, it's not funny!"

Marinette rolled her eyes and pulled her up, "Come on, we gotta help Maman with the bakery."

"At least I can talk with my crush. How was ~Adrien~ today?"

"Shhh!" Marinette quickly looked around to make sure no one heard her, "Don't tell the whole school! Only Alya knows about it."

"Oh, sweet innocent child, the whole school already knows. Why do you think Chloe has been particularly horrible this year?"

"I'm just unlucky?" she offered with a shrug.

Bridgette risked a glance at her baby cousin's earrings, simple black earrings, "I don't think that's it."

They walked out together to the Dupain-Cheng Bakery. Marinette hid behind Bridgette as they passed the Agreste brothers, Bridgette made sure to embarrass her by calling out her undying love to Felix. It was worth it, she was pretty sure she saw some pink on those haughty cheeks.

"Hey, what are you doing for Miraculous day?" Bridgette asked as they entered the warm bakery.

"Miraculous day?"

"Yeah, it's been a year since Ladybug and Chat Noir showed up, the mayor has been making a fuss all month about it. They're throwing a ball, the school is having a costume party, it's been on the news!"

Marinette paled, how could she forget?! "Uh…I haven't really thought about it. Do we have to do costumes?"

"What's the fun in not doing costumes? Okay, I know Alya has probably asked, but can you make me a Ladybug costume? I'll love you forever! You'll be my favorite French cousin!"

She gave her a look, "I'm your only French cousin."

"All the more reason to do it!"

Marinette sighed, "Alright, we can buy fabric tonight."

"I already did," Bridgette grinned, pulling out the reams of red and black from under her bed and dumping it by the sewing machine, "You're the best!"

Part of her felt bad for taking advantage of Marinette's generosity and kindness. That girl needs to learn how to say no. But she was hatching a plan and bought fabric to help that plan. In the long run, it was gonna help Marinette, even if she never knew.

Bridgette left her to go help downstairs, working in the back to make more dough. She loved the Dupain-Cheng Bakery. It was so warm and welcoming. And beating the living daylights out of dough really helped her relax. She so needed to relax. It's been a rollercoaster week.

First, Felix totally denied being her partner for a school project, which given his track record, wasn't so surprising to Bridgette. He may act all grumpy, but she knew deep, deep down there was a mushy blob of feelings. She failed her literature test, again, not so surprising. Oh and she found out her cousin and her crush saved Paris in tight spandex suits.

Finding out the identities of Paris' superheroes was not on Bridgette's agenda. While Alya turned over every rock, Bridgette didn't care. Now that she knew….well, how does no one else notice? Sunshine child and baby cousin are so freaking obvious. She and Bridgette have been sharing a room for three months and every other night, Marinette climbs out to the terrace like an overexcited puppy learning to walk. She's so loud.

Marinette had no idea she knew of course. No one did. And once she figured out Ladybug, Chat Noir was easy. Sunshine child Adrien Agreste was worse than Marinette. They were such babies; bumbling, lovesick, babies. They must be protected. And Tikki agreed, which is why Miraculous day was a perfect time to get a Ladybug costume and not arouse suspicion.

"Bridgette, honey, I think the bread is done." Tom chuckled as he loomed over his niece.

She looked up at him, blinking, then looked down at the dough, shrugging sheepishly, "Us Chengs like to be thorough."

"Don't I know it. Thanks for your help, we're closing soon so you stop. Sabine has dinner for you and Marinette."

"Thanks Uncle Tom!" She reached up and kissed his cheek, grabbed a plate of food and hurried upstairs. A flash of red disappeared behind Marinette as she entered. So obvious. "Dinner! I even snagged us a few cookies."

"Thanks Bridgette!"

"Oh, shoot, I forgot drinks."

"I'll get it!" Marinette hurried back down. Once the door was firmly closed, Bridgette looked around.

"Tikki?"

The strange red creature cautiously floated up from behind a stack of books, "I told you we can't be seen talking Bridgette. You know how Marinette is, this is not how she should find out you know."

"I know, I know. But She's not a morning person. If I got up early, could we talk then? Please please please please please?"

Tikki cast a wary glance at the door, then nodded and flew back to her hiding spot as Marinette came back up with drinks, "Thanks Mari!"
