The countries became less and less important as time went on. The human personifications slowly became less attached to their respective countries. But maintained their immortality. As did their capitals. However a disturbance torn them apart. The appearance of mysterious monsters called titans forced the human countries and capitals and various other cities to split up. Promising to regroup once they deemed it somewhat safe, the human countries and cities fanned out among the walls.

In this new age of the Titans, common folk knew of the human countries. But several of them didn't approve of the personifications, as the people felt as if the human countries head betrayed them. The human cities and capitals were never revealed, living amongst the normal people and trying to ignore any negative comments towards the countries. The cities really believed they could live normally. However, it could never be so.

The Germanic cities (Vienna, both Berlins, Hamburg, Munich and Budapest) had stayed together. Hamburg and Budapest even joined the Survey Corps, to protect the people and maybe find any wondering human countries to reunite with.

Hamburg had wavy silvery-white hair with red eyes and glasses. Budapest had curly brown hair pulled back in a small ponytail and pale green eyes. To keep their cover, they went by their human names. Hamburg was Jared Beilschmidt and Budapest was Elliot Hedervary.

Today they were put into teams to fight off a second titan invasion. Jared went to the front lines with Mikasa Ackerman. Elliot stayed behind on Eren and Armin's team.

"Are you sure I don't know you?" Armin walked up to Elliot who brushed it off.

"You're having false memories Armin. I've only just met you." Elliot rolled his eyes.

"I thought the Survey Corps were out beyond the walls." Eren scoffed.

"Some of us stayed behind, now stop asking questions!" Elliot snapped, "My mission is making sure you don't do anything stupid and sealing the gate with your so-called titan form."

Eren grit his teeth and swung his fist on the taller brunette. Elliot grabbed his hand and pulled Eren closer, "You remind me of Prussia. Questioning everything and never learning when to shut up." He glared Eren down.

"Prussia . . ? What's that?" Armin raised an eyebrow. Elliot froze and released Eren when he released what he had said. Oh no, he had let it slip.

"You guys go ahead. I need to check something." Elliot gulped. Connie grabbed his shoulder.

"What the hell man? We have to stay together! We're a team." Connie huffed. Elliot shook his head vigorously, "I'm so sorry. But I have to go." He pressed the triggers and took off on his 3D maneuver gear.

"Where does he think he's going?" Sasha groaned. Eren's eyes narrowed, "I'm going after him!" He flew away on his gear after Elliot.

"Oh great. We just lost the guy who's supposed to fix everything." Connie face palmed. Armin laughed nervously, "I'll go after them. Stop any titans that come through the gates." He went after Eren and Elliot.

After flying high for a couple minutes, he spotted Eren in an alleyway next to a small window in between two buildings.

"Eren! Come on, we have to head back. You're the key to this entire operation!" Armin landed next to his friend. Eren covered his mouth and pulled him closer, "Shush. Don't talk. I'm trying to listen." He huffed and opened the window a small crack. Armin pushed away his hand but paused as well when he heard talking.

"Elliot you didn't! You're such an idiot." said a girl's voice

"And referencing our oldest brother, of all people." Another girl's voice groaned.

"I'm sorry. It slipped out. At least I didn't say Germany." Elliot argued.

"Our cover is blown now and the titans are attacking. Can this day get any worse?" The voice of a young boy muttered.

All of a sudden, there was loud stomping drawing closer to the house. Eren and Armin then came face-to-face with a large 7-meter titan. The two were frozen in place.

"Hey ugly up here!" Elliot stood on the roof of the home. Armin snapped his head up to look at the brunette. The titan reached out and grabbed Elliot who screamed and struggled. The monster dropped the young man into his mouth, swallowing him whole. Eren was the first to regain his movement, wasting no time and swiftly slicing the nape of the titan. It came down with a loud thump.

"He's gone." Armin blinked. Eren landed on the ground and pulled his friend to his feet, "Armin. This happens all the time. There's nothing we can do. Now let's get whoever is in this house out and underground!" He huffed. Armin was about to concede when a blade pierced through the stomach of the evaporating titan. It sliced through the skin and then disappeared. Elliot, covered in the steaming blood, emerged from the belly of the beast.

"No way. He survived." Eren gapped at the sight, "How is that even possible? He looks like us but . . . . what is he?" He stared at Elliot in shock and awe.

"Oh my god. Must you always make a dramatic entrance back into the real world? This is the fifth time." A teenage girl with long white hair and piercing blue eyes marched out the home. She wore a long-sleeved blue dress with a white apron wrapped around her waist.

Elliot hopped off of the titan, "Yes. It is absolutely necessary East." He smirked. The girl rolled her eyes, "First off; call me by my name Giselle, not a stupid nickname Gilbert made off my capital name. And two, you smell like barf." She gagged.

"Well I was in the belly of a titan for a bit. It was dying so it was a bit harder to escape this around." Elliot shrugged.

"W-wait it died? Someone killed it?!" Giselle looked around frantically. Elliot laughed and slapped her on the back, "Oh it's okay Jazzy. It's not like that mortal is still around to hear our secret."

Eren stepped out of the alleyway with Armin in tow, "We heard everything, traitors. You're welcome by the way." He glared at them. Armin gulped and looked away. Elliot and Giselle paled, both swallowing a lump in their throats.

"After this is over, you're gonna have a lot of explaining to do." Armin looked down at his feet.

"Oh shit." Elliot and Giselle intertwined hands, shrinking back under Eren's intense glare.

Guys, I can't explain how much I love Attack on Titan. I have a t-shirt of the titan size chart, an cool grey infinity scarf with the three symbols of the different groups of soldiers, have two posters hung up in my room and have watched both seasons through and through.

After revisiting the first and third intro songs of Attack on Titan, I decided write a cool cross over of Attack on Titan and Hetalia. I don't know how long I'll write this for but I do plan on completing it. It'll probably be the story I update as I write chapters for Forbidden Love. Like I'll go back and forth between them as I update them.

And don't worry, I am working on chapter 11 of Forbidden Love. I'm gonna power through it this weekend and hopefully get it up by Sunday night or sometime on Monday.

Side note: This story included a truck load of my Hetalia OCs, mostly capitals and other cities. I'll start putting a mini guide to their names at the beginning of every chapter so you don't get confused.

Until next time my fellow fangirls, hasta la pasta!
