Trying the best to control, Elsa walked away without her glove. "Stop shutting down on me! That's all you ever do" Anna shouted. Elsa stopped moving and took deep breaths, trying to control. She could feel the ice at her fingertips. Conceal, don't feel, don't let them know. She was this close to getting away when Anna opened her mouth. She can take it no more. "Enough!" she shouted as ice shot out from her hands, spikes forming a boundary, separating her from the rest of the people.

That's it, Elsa thought. The kingdom will now know that she is a monster. She felt anger then she was annoyed at herself. After all the efforts to ensure that the coronation will run smoothly, she just had to screw up towards the end. Then she felt fear, it was overwhelming. Ignoring all the gasps from the crowd and the Duke's complaints, she ran off, only to be surrounded by more people outside. Everyone was delighted to finally meet their Queen, they were all trying to get a closer look at her; but Elsa did not view it that way. She tried to look away from all the stares, desperately trying to find a place to get away. She backed herself only to hit the fountain, her hand touched the cool metal as ice started forming on it and within seconds the whole fountain was frozen. The weather turned from chilly to freezing and it was snowing.

Elsa ran. She ran, away from the people, away from town, away from everything. She had to leave before anyone is hurt. She never stopped running till she was a North Mountain. Then, she felt relieved. The fear was gone, she could not hurt anyone here, she did not need to hide, she did not need to be perfect for anyone. She could be free. Elsa allowed herself to play with her magic and build her ice palace. It was perfect for her. She no longer had to be restrained by the responsibilities of a Queen and conceal herself. She could let her magic show. Elsa changed her dress into one that was glittery blue. It felt as if she was finally let out after being cooped in for so long.

She felt carefree, for now at least.
