In the early hours of the morning, Lucius was woken up by the sound of cries filling the large bedroom, he sat up slightly and tapped Narcissa on the shoulder, "Cissy...the baby is crying," Lucius announced before turning over to go back to sleep.
"Huh?" Narcissa awoke her eyes blurry, "How long has he been crying?" Narcissa asked sounding more awake than she had a second ago, "Lucius?!" she tried to wake him but Lucius had gone back to sleep, "I'm coming Draco," Narcissa said as she sat herself up and swung her legs over the side of her bed, she placed her silk green robe around her slim body and then walked over to Draco; he was red in the face from crying and his face had tear stains, "Oh my little dragon what is the matter?" Narcissa lifted him up placing one hand under his head and the other under his back, "You can't be hungry I only fed you a while ago," she spoke to him like he was going to answer her, "Lucius," Narcissa whispered sounding angry, "Wake up!"
"What is the matter with him?" he asked sounding grumpy, he was not a morning person but more of a nighttime person, "You fed him an hour ago, changed him, you even bathed him thinking it would relax him, what is wrong with him?" Lucius had memorized all she had done, just in case Narcissa panicked thinking she had forgotten to do something.
Narcissa walked around the room with Draco in her arms, hoping the motion would settle him but that too had failed, she looked out the large window hoping something would inspire her, as the stars twinkled in the night sky Narcissa found no inspiration, "You'll soon learn Draco that stars aren't just a luminous sphere of plasma held together by it's own gravity, but a name sake. All of your family members on my side, with the exception of myself and a few others are named after either a star or a constellation. Bellatrix the Female Warrior, Orion the Hunter, Regulus the Lion and Cygnus the Swan, they are all up there in the sky and when one dies they are always shining down at you. And you Draco, are Draco the Dragon," Narcissa looked down at her son to find he had fallen asleep had she bored him to sleep? Or was it relaxing hearing all the stories? Slowly she walked over to the crib and placed him back inside then beside his head she placed the dragon, the one Regulus had given him, "Sleep tight sweetheart," she gently kissed him on the head before walking away back to bed, she slid back into bed and felt Lucius breathing over her, "Lucius," she turned over to look at him her eyes sparkling, "You could've allowed me to sleep. All he wanted was someone to speak to him," she teased.
"When you've dropped him off at your parents house, I can make it up to you," he slid his finger down Narcissa's shoulder, causing her to shiver slightly, "Does that sound OK?" he kissed her on the lips and Narcissa kissed him back.
"Sounds great," Narcissa smiled at him.
"I'll let you rest Cissy," Lucius kissed her again he then wrapped his arms around her waist. The three people in the room slept soundly until it was time for getting up.
