A/N: Hey there guys! This is my first time with this pairing (Flying Colors aka Seamus/Lavender) so please let me know what you thought in the reviews! The name of this pairing really spoke to me, and I really enjoyed writing it. Let me know what you guys think, or if you want me to show you guys how this came to be via flashback? Sorry about the long A/N...

They're fighting- screaming, stomping, slamming doors, breaking glasses...even more so than usual. She doesn't know if he knows why they're fighting (she herself has long forgotten the reason why she's throwing the lamp), but it seems to be all they do anymore. They've discovered they're both quite good at it.

They're at it for hours on end, hardly taking a break to breath. She's barely recognizable, her mascara lines that run down her face paint a different person. He's barely understandable, his accent so thick that you hear a different person. When they're fighting, both of them become different people.

So now that they've finally run out of breath and harsh words, they're sitting in the bedroom where there's the least amount of broken glass (from the many glasses that were thrown, along with anything else they could find that they thought would hurt). He's drinking his whiskey double time, and the wine bottle in her hand is almost empty. They're both sick of their relationship, too tired to try and fix the mess they made, but they both know they can't leave. It's love; their love is wild and passionate. It is rare in a world with so much death and destruction, and they know firsthand how hard it can be to cope with everything (and everyone) they lost. So in the end they both give in to their love, and decide to stay to try one last time, with their white flags of surrender flying in the breeze.
