It was snowing.
Flakes fell to the ground, giving it a white blanket. A little girl looked out the window, smiling. A tall boy stood next to her watching.
"Nii-san," said the little girl, looking up at him. "Is Toris coming over today?"
The boy nodded. "Yes, Natalia, Toris is coming."
The little girl, Natalia, nodded. "Is he gonna be here soon?" she inquired.
"Yes, Natalia," replied her brother patiently.
She smiled again, gazing outside. "I hope he does. I wanna play with him…"
"He'll be here when he gets here, da?" said the boy.
"But, Ivan, I wanna see him now," she protested.
Ivan tsked. "Patience, sister."
She pouted. "But Ivan… He hasn't come to play in a while…"
"Be patient, Natalia," Ivan said, smiling at the little girl who still had a pout playing on her face. "Toris has to get through all the snow, too."
"I like the snow," she commented, staring dreamily at the cold, white flakes.
Ivan didn't reply, sighing softly.
"Hey, it's Toris!" she chirped, pointing.
He looked up, spotting the brunette hair of their friend. "Indeed it is."
