"Oh, big brother, it's the worst possible thing in the whole wide world!" She exclaimed. Her curly blonde hair was bouncing when she spoke.
"Sally, it's only the first day of school. You've been to school before." He told her.
Sally sighed. She placed her hands her hips.
"No! I'm talking about how I'm being separated forever from my sweet babboo" She cried. Tears began to flow from Sally's face.
Charlie Brown shook his head. That's what was bothering her? He tried to focus on making sure that he had everything on his mother's list inside his backpack.
"He's only going to middle school" Charlie Brown explained "Right across the street."
Sally pulled out one of the kitchen chairs, and sat down. She laid her down on the table.
"We'll be world's apart. What if he forgets about me? What if he meets someone else? What if I never make it to middle school myself?"
"He's our next door neighbor, Sally" He reminded her. "Plus he's here almost all the time. There's no possible way he could forget about you."
Sally nodded her head. The school bus honked.
"That will be the middle school bus" He told his sister. He walked off, leaving his back pack on the kitchen table beside Sally's head.
"I'm prepared for school this time" He said as he boarded the bus "I have everything I need right here…in my…." He looked to see just as the bus doors were closing, Sally was running out the front door carrying his back pack.
"Good Grief" He muttered, taking the first empty seat he could find.
