Yes, I think I started to love this pairing when I read chapter 54~ x3
Well, this drabble just came across my mind~ I hope you guys will enjoy it! :D
Disclaimer: I might be Jun Mochizuki who's in disguise! Or… Maybe not… :P
He hates her.
The way she smiled innocently, and the way her eyes simply looked at him like he was a nice person.
Vincent Nightray never thought himself as a nice person.
That idea even sounded surreal to him. Even makes him so close of vomiting.
He was a deceiver, the one who manipulates everyone from the shadow.
And so to him, she was probably one of those disposable pawns. She was his little puppet, someone that will he easily toss away when she had held no more use for him.
So he smiled to her, with a smile that he also hated with the same fervor as he was to her.
Hate is probably too shallow to describe his hostility. Maybe he should say that he loathed her.
But she was an important pawn for him to make Oscar Vessalius finally spit out the whereabouts of the Vessalius' key.
And that's also why he always tried to seduce her, so he can force her uncle to spill out the information he wanted.
She herself never held anything that's captivating to him. She was just those silly and annoying girls who always giggling and blushing like a fool.
And he hated them all the same. He wanted to taint her. To make her lose all her pureness.
To drag her to hell with him.
To rip her invisible white angel wings.
To paint them black, as black as his own stained heart.
And she always fell to his trap, completely oblivious to his sugar-coated words.
And that fact should have been satisfied him.
But no, his twisted heart and mind always wanted more. He wants to make her suffer more. He wanted her to fall even further into the depths of the chasm with her.
And that desire felt wrong, where it should have been alright.
It was supposed to be okay. He hated her, so why does he sometimes feel guilty?
Why does he keep on feeling this wrongness..?
Sometimes he feels his heart and feelings betrayed him.
Sometimes, he noticed that he worries about her well being.
He knew he is letting his feelings dwell a little bit too deep into the matter. It's just like a double-edged sword at his side.
But his facade started to always slips up when he was with her.
And her shy gestures, all her soft words, and all of her gentle gazes are making him felt even dirtier, making him feel so irritated.
He knew he had to stop this dangerous play. There are still dozens of ways to force Oscar to give him the key.
And yet she's like a cigarette to him.
Cigarette always tasted bad.
And yet he can't get enough of it. He's getting too indulged to this little made-up game.
He's getting addicted to her, and he wanted to brand her his. His to treasure, his to destroy.
And that contradicts with what he had first in mind about her.
She was starting to change from a mere pawn to something a bit more.
Maybe.. Just maybe..
She might have been his queen all along.
Well... That's it! I know this is a little bit weird, and maybe it's a bit OOC but Vincent DID worry about her for a second.. So maybe he started to care about Ada, but meh.. I don't know..
Thanks for reading! And please drop a review everyone! :D
