My First Hetalia Fic! How Ninja Am I? Don't Answer That… Well Here Goes Nothing! I Wanna Personally Thank My Bestie Flying High 13 For Getting Me Addicted.
Chapter One
Germany's POV
November 22, 6:31pm, 5 miles away from Russia's Fortress
My current situation…hiking through deadly snows. Heading towards Russia's Kingdom. The reason? Well let's back up a bit.
October 2, 5:46 am, Germany's House
"Italy! Rise and Shine! Training in 14." I yelled to the small Italian that was currently lying in my bed.
"Bu-t germanyyyy! I'm tired just five more minutes PLEASE!" Italy whined, rolling over to face me.
"What if the English army were approaching? Would you ask them to hold off for five more minutes while you slept?" He looked up at me a tear in his eye.
"No but you could at least cut me some slack while were not in war." He got up and got dressed, all while tears streamed down his face. "I'm not going to training today. Germany I'll be at my house cooking Pasta if you need me." He stood up. This stupid little Italian. He would be over thrown if I hadn't become allied to him. And now he's just walking away?
"Italy, I can't let you leave. You'll get hurt, captured, or over thrown if you leave. And I don't want to be guilty if anything happens to you." I said sternly. He shook his head.
"Germany I thank you for all you've done for me but I think it's time for me to return home, by myself. I really do appreciate everything you've done. Ill see you again soon, I promise, but…" Italy my Italy was leaving. I knew this much, I didn't know why. This is the same Italy that marches around the house with a surrender flag everyday. And every night. I just… can't let my only friend go I just can't.
"Italy…if you walk out those doors don't expect to come back ever." I knew this was unfair and cruel, but the thought of my best friend leaving. It was too much to handle.
"I'm sorry Germany, I guess ill never…see…you…ag-"he choked, fighting the sobs. I was about to tackle him, force him to stay… but I couldn't. As much as I wanted to I had to let him go. He needs his own independence. I couldn't keep him safe forever; he had to rely on himself someday. Didn't he? "Germany you'll always be my best friend, no matter what happens. Don't you ever forget that?" He couldn't stop the sobs this time.
"Italy, I can't stop you from leaving, and I can't stop you from coming back. You mean too much too me for me to even think about fighting against, I hope what you're doing is right and that you'll be extra careful. Do you understand me?" I really didn't want him leaving. Just as much as Japan hates being naked. But there really is no way I can stop him. I guess this is goodbye.
"Bye Germany…" he mumbled looking down. And as much as he wanted to stay he knew he couldn't. He knew he had to stand up for himself one day, even if that means saying good bye to Germany for awhile. With tears in his eyes he turned away from me looking straigt at the door, "Bye Germany, Thanks for everything." He opened the door and was gone just like that. A best friend gone. My only friend gone.
Awwww how sad… Well as long as flying high doesn't leave! Well please review!
