I don't own NCIS or its characters. But enjoy my musings!

Ziva smiled to herself as she pulled the silver cover from the jar of chocolate frosting. She stuck her finger in for the first bite before stirring it with one of the spoons she had sitting on the table. Then, she put some of the frosting on the knife before smoothing it over the top of her freshly baked cupcakes.

She continued frosting the cupcakes and taking bites of frosting when her apartment door swung open. "It smells like a bakery in here." Tony walked into the dining area, smiling before he pressed a kiss to Ziva's lips. "And you have been eating the frosting from the can."

"How was your trip?"

Tony sighed as he walked to the fridge for a bottle of water. "Exhausting. It's nice to be home."

Ziva laughed. "Tony, you were gone for one day. If it makes you feel better, Abby missed you."

"I missed you," Tony murmured into her neck as he stood behind her, wrapping his arms around her waist.

"Was Gibbs not enough company for you?" she asked, stifling a laugh as she tried to concentrate on the cupcakes while his tongue touched the skin on her neck softly. "Tony, I need to finish these cupcakes."

He moaned into her neck. "I haven't seen you all day. Can't you spare twenty minutes?"

She paused before answering. "No." His head fell on her shoulder before he walked back into the kitchen searching the cupboards for a snack. She licked the frosting from the knife and spoon after finally finishing the cupcakes before standing up from the table and walking to the sink. She began to run hot water when Tony's hands wrapped around her waist again.

His breath tickled. "Come on, just ten minutes."

She leaned back against him, letting her body melt into his. He reached forward to turn the water off as she turned around in his arms. "I have missed you," he said as she smiled and he pressed his lips to hers. Ziva's fingers worked the buttons on his shirt while he lifted her t-shirt over her head, throwing it onto the tiled floor. She finally pulled his button-down open as he lifted her up and sat her on the counter, his hands now tangled in her hair.

Ziva's fingers now moved to Tony's belt when there was a knock at the door and then Abby flying in, McGee right behind her.

Both Ziva and Tony looked like deer caught in headlights before Abby laughed and held up two white, plastic bags. "We brought Italian!"

"I may have forgotten to mention Abby and McGee were coming over tonight," Ziva said to Tony, who was buttoning his shirt. "I'm sorry."

Tony laughed. "Don't apologize," he said as he pressed a kiss to her cheek. "You owe me, Agent David." He kissed her one last time before grabbing a bottle of wine and meeting his friends in the living room. Ziva grabbed four glasses before joining them, a smile glued to her face.
