She stands tall, looking over the beautiful violet blanket of the sunset.
She looks on, with worrying eyes, on the beautiful city clearly in her sight before her.
She knows all. The past, future, and present. She knows that the city before her will be utterly destroyed. Yet,
She cannot do anything. She has no right to change the past, for death will be bestowed upon her as a punishment.
She cries. She begins to laugh at herself, as the tears roll down.
She wonders where the tears come from. For eternity, she has seen the destruction of many cities. She has seen the bloodshed of war erupt in tremendous slaughters in human sacrifice.
She has seen all, the deepest depths of hell to the highest clouds of heaven, from the confinment of her duty in the time gates.
She wonders if she is even human anymore, with all the things she has seen.
She thinks she is use to seeing death and destruction. But then, why do the tears continue to roll down?
She imagines, if there was only something she could do.
She takes one last good look at the city.
She walks away. It won't be the last time she will see this happen. There will never be a last time.

AN: My first attempt at writing this sort of thing. Sorry if it was a bit confusing. Just decided to write this in between my other fanfic projects just to clear my mind. Obviously it is about Sailor Pluto, and what she has to do; the "sacrifices" she has to make, since she can see everything but not do a thing to change it.
Thanks for reading. All comments to meioukishi@aol.com
