Marius gazed down tenderly at his carton of Neapolitan ice cream. The light pink, ivory, and brown dairy confectionary blended together enticingly. The urge to sing overwhelmed him, but he bit his lip. Cosette would hear him sing to his ice cream. Bitch would get jealous, and then no more nookie for him. He poked his head out of his door and looked around for his love.

No sign of her. He smiled, then looked back down at his ice cream.

"A heart full of night, a night bright as day! You must never go away," he clutched the carton of ice cream close to his chest, "ice cream, ice cream! This is a chain we'll never break!"

Marius stopped singing to admire his half-eaten Neapolitan. Tears of joy sprung to his eyes from the sheer beauty of it. He shoosh papped the carton gently, comforting it since he was eating his true love, spoonful by delicious spoonful. "Ice cream…" he whispered hoarsely. "I will…always…love you…"
