SEAMUS AND BRIANAH

Seamus opened the door to the astronomy tower slowly, hoping the loud creaks would be quieted. This was one of her favorite places in the castle, and he was hoping to find her there. It was after hours, so he hoped that she would turn up before the prefects started their rounds, bringing them here. He made his way over to a ledge, looking down over the grounds. "Why are you here? I haven't seen you up here after-hours before," came a tinkling voice from the shadowed edge of the room. Seamus turned on his heal, his hand flying to the pocket of his robes that held his wand, "Oi! Brianah! Ye scared me." She walked out of the shadows to the ledge he was standing by, leaning on a near-by wall. "What are you doing here?" she repeated. "Actually, Ah cam tae fin' ye." He shrugged, leaning against the ledge. "Whit ur ye daein' haur?" She smirked at him and walked over to the ledge he was leaning against. "I'm looking at the stars. Did you know they're actually balls of fire and gas that are thousands of light-years away? It's strange to think about; they're so tiny and beautiful, it's hard to imagine them being dangerous." "guid things come in sma bulk." Seamus said, looking from her face, to the sky. "Hmm?" she said, turning her gaze from the stars to his copied her, "Jist coz somethin' is wee doesnae pure techt it's ay wee value." "Oh," she said, thinking about what he just said. After a few seconds, she smiled at him. "Th' stars can hardly compaur tae ye in beauty." He said, smiling shyly at her. "That's probably the sweetest thing anyone has ever said to me." She said softly, the smile getting a bit smile dropped from his face and his brow scrunched. "Weel, lit me continue 'en. Ah loch 'at yoo're hair is blue, it makes ye different frae a' fowk else, an' yer een ur sae warm they coods melt glaciers." He stepped closer and grabbed her hand and began playing with her fingers. A tear dropped on to the hand he was holding and he looked up. Tears were streaming down her face, but she was smiling more brilliantly than he'd ever seen her. She leaned in and kissed him softly. She pulled away, looking into his eyes, "Thank you," she said. "Nae problem lassie." He said, and kissed her again.
