The usual drivel, I don't own anything related to The Lost Boys or indecently Sesame Street.

Staking the Count

Mike had paid a random visit, picking up some shirts. This wasn't good, the Frogs where over spending the night. Now he was worried he would have to stand between them, hoping they wouldn't try to kill each other.

Blood sucker." Edgar called out. Mike flipped Edgar off as he went upstairs, ignoring Edgar and Alan as they said a string of words to do with vampires in an insulting tone. He breathed out a sigh of relief for now, disaster wouldn't strike.

" It's not a good thing to let that blood sucker just have run of the place, to just walk in when it feels like." Edgar again with the explanations.

" Yea, there's no telling what evil things he's planning up there, they can't be trusted." Alan is just as bad as Edgar with the whole kill your brother thing.

" Guys we are not killing Mike and you're going to piss him off, he can hear you, you know?"

The Frog bothers looked at each other, then Edgar, not convincingly remarks." We knew that, fine we won't stake him tonight." they both nod and Grab up the movie they had found in their parents room: Staking the Count was written on the cover of the tape, looked like it was recorded from another movie, like when you rent something and to cheap or poor to buy the movie, so you copy it onto a blank tape, it was one of those.

He may not want to stake Mike, but the whole vampire hunting and the getting rid of Max, well it was exciting as well as scary and he couldn't pass up a good Dracula movie, watching the evil bastard getting staked, he would imagine it was Max and he was the one staking him. The hero saving him and his mom and grandpa from that evil, even if he couldn't save Mike, but Mike was still sort of Mike, so it wasn't to bad as long as he didn't think about what Mike ate every night.

Now he should have listened to that little voice that said, don't watch. The tape coming from the Frogs' parents' bedroom should have been reason enough, without it being a recording on a blank tape... The biggest reason being Mike.

Mike had came back down, some clothes tucked in that oversize gym bag of his. Edgar made a remark about watching movies about killing his filthy kind, the fact that Mike leaned over to glance at the title on the box and instead of getting annoyed or angry, burst out laughing, should have been a very big, big reason to grab the movie and toss it out, no throw it in a fire where the sick mind scaring evil that was inside, that now made him shudder every time he herd the Sesame Street theme and saw pictures of Big Bird or The Count, would never ever be able to haunt another soul again...

But nnnoooo, Mike stumbling out the door barely able to walk from his laughter didn't stop him, the Frogs just snorted and called Mike an insane blood sucker. If only he had listened to that voice, if only he had taken the clue from Mike. No instead they popped the tape in and found to their horror...

That Staking the Count was nothing to do with killing vampires... No he had to be blinded by big bird and when he says big, he doesn't mean how tall that yellow demon of hell was. And the Count, well he counted how many times Big Bird " staked" him along with Snuffy and everyone from Sesame street.

" Turn it off! Turn it off!" He screamed at Edgar who looked ready to puke.

Alan rushes to the VCR, and yanks the tape from it before the machine had finished ejecting it." Holy crap what was that?!" Alan looked traumatized." What the hell did they do to Big Bird?!"

"That was, that was so wrong. I think I'm going to vomit." Edgar really did look ready to puke.
