Author's note: I'm only putting up one chapter to this story, it's apparent nobody likes my COTC stuff anyway. I'll just go back to writing about chickens.

Friendship

A young kindergarten girl sat on a broken swing in the little playground next to the Gatlin School; nobody wanted to be her friend because she liked to punch. A second grade boy with red hair walked over to her.

"Hey girl you're in my swing." The boy said she got up and pushed him down, he laughed.

"It's not yours anymore." She sat back down.

"You got a lot of guts to hit me. What's your name?" The boy got up and stopped her from swinging.

"Jayme, what's yours?" She pushed him away and kept swinging.

"Craig." He stopped the swing and pushed her out she giggled.

"Why don't you go play with your friends and leave me alone." She said.

"I don't have any friends." He sat on the swing.

"Nobody likes me." She said, "You wanna be my friend?"

"Okay." They played on the swing until it was time to go in and learn. After school they walked home together laughing and telling untrue stories.

"I got to go eat dinner and clean my room so I'll see you later." Craig said as he went to his house, "Bye."

"Bye." Jayme ran to her house, "Mommy! Mommy!"

"What's all the noise for Jayme?" Her mother walked out on the porch.

"I got a friend!" Jayme jumped up and down.

"That's nice, why don't you come in and have a snack?" Her mom took the backpack and they went into the house. Jayme ate a snack of cookies and carrots and played with her dolls for most of the day.

            'Knock knock'

"Hold on." Jayme's mother answered the door Craig was standing there, "Jayme someone's here for you."

"Who would want to see me?" She said as she walked over to the door, "Craig!"

"I got done with my room quick so my dad said I could go outside." He said.

"Let's go to the backyard." Jayme said, they ran to the backyard, Craig began to look under rocks.

"Wow, I caught I lizard." He held up a little lizard.

"Neat." Jayme pulled out an old frying pan, "Let's cook it."

"Okay." Craig put it in he frying pan.

"Once it's cooked I dare you to eat it." Jayme shook the pan as if the lizard was really cooking.

"Okay, when's is going to be done?" He watched her flip the lizard and try to stop it from crawling out.

"Now." She handed him the lizard he opened his mouth and put the lizard in, he made a few weird faces before swallowing it.

"It wiggled all the way down." They laughed. The entire year was like that, having fun, playing games, and doing all kinds of weird stuff.
