Title: A Love Unfettered

Rating: T

AN: This was just something I wrote. Danny Messer is not mine…although I would love him to be mine. I wrote this using him and myself based on a picture I found online. Ah, my inspiration comes from so many places.

Danny was just sitting on the couch. He had just gotten home from work and his girlfriend, Amber, was on her way home from work. He had a whole romantic night planned out and wanted it to be special.

Amber was in the car thinking to herself:

Damn, I'm late again. If he sees me in this get up, he is going to kill me.

Amber had to hurry home and get changed before Danny saw her like this.

When she arrived, Amber was greeted to no lights in the house and Danny's car in the garage. She remembered she had a different shirt and quickly threw it on, not realizing that Danny had been staring out the window the entire time. When she did realize, it was a bit late. He was outside in his jacket opening her car door.

"What the hell were you doing there?"

"Changing my shirt. The daycare job was a total disaster."

He saw the shirt with what appeared to be baby food and paint all over it. He took a heavy sigh and walked her in, taking her gym bag in the process. He held the door open for her and then took off his jacket. As Amber turned around, she noticed that under that jacket was a man with no shirt on. It was a bit weird, but the way her day was going, it was not uncommon.

"Danny Messer, why the hell did you come out there with a jacket, no shirt and apparently no shoes on?"

"I was wondering where you were and was the impatient type."

To Amber, that was typical Danny. Danny picked Amber up off her feet and strolled upstairs. He dropped her down on the bed and got the type of smirk on his face that Amber always blushed at.

"Danny, you had it planned."

He crawled on the bed next to her and gave her a small kiss.

"Now how would I go and plan all this out?"

Amber soon realized what was all around her. Rose petals and lavender perfumed the whole room. He had set up what she considered to be only her fantasy, a quiet night at home with the man she loved. Considering they were always busy and had little time to themselves, she loved this.

"Danny, I love you."

"I love you as well."

Amber leaned over and kissed him, placing her hand right across his chest. For a moment, it was if she could feel his heart beat, skipping a step with every kiss they shared. It was love, and she knew it.
