It's hard to concentrate when it's like this. When she stalks through your mind, when she opens you like a worn-out-but-still-a-classic book. One with tear stains, and ripped pages, dog eared chapters and highlighted words, underlined passages and foot notes; because you're her favourite book.

You blink hard and try to remember when it started. When your words belonged to her, and despite how cracked and crumbling your cover, despite how weak your spine had become, she still reads through you, holding tenderly with each minute she has you in her hands. But then again, that's just her.

And it hurts, when she takes a pen to you, writing along your sides, bending corners down at her favourite parts, but you can't bring yourself to tell her because making you hers is her favourite part.

But it doesn't take long for you to forgive her, because what she writes in your skin is so perfect, so her. And the smile she gets when she opens you up is so sweet, and so caring, you realise she doesn't know.

She doesn't know how with every word she traces with her finger up your side, with every tear she sheds that soaks your skin, with every bending of your frown that she does when she points out all her favourite things to you and only you, you fall even further.

But what hurts the most, is that one day, she'll forget to mark her place, one day, she'll stop flipping through your pages, one day she'll lose you to another book, leaving you behind like a journal covered front to back in her.

And who wants a journal after its been used?

But you just suck in your breath as she draws her fingers across your cover, hands wrapping around your spine as she opens you up again, because you love her, and you'd give the world just for one more painful word, one more agonising letter, because it's Cat's, and that's all the reason you need.

*Author's note*

Just a little fluffy thingy magig, I figured I'd try this form of writing out, and I decided I'd give the honours to Cat and Jade. :) Love those two.
Reviews welcomed! Only intended this to be a one-shot thing. (Tell me if I'm using this terminology wrong!)
