"Up", almost bellowing at the broom an impatient Bellatrix clicked her tongue as she tried to get hr broom to respond to her. This was the reason she never flew anywhere, her broom riding had never been passable yet this mission they had been instructed to fly, or possibly the floo if it was a last resort. Flicking that annoying curl back behind her ear she only huffed louder as Rodolphus slowly drifted past her, reclined on his broom with no trouble, "need a hand, baby?". He was trying his hardest not to laugh at her inability to ride a broom, though it was clear in his eyes as he recalled her trouble with a broom at school
"Piss off, Lestrange", openly laughing at the huffing girl he waited until the teacher was distracted before moving behind her, his hands going either side of her in an almost hug as he helped her to get her broom to lift then helped her to mount it. Before the teacher could see how he'd been the one to help her he'd kissed her neck once then slipped back into his place, giving an innocent smirk to the infuriated glare Bellatrix sent him. If it wasn't for the teacher returning to the rest of the class he was sure she'd have smacked him for that.
Finally getting her broom to lift and mounting it she gave her husband a triumphant look as she flew beside him along the back hallway of her sister's manor, "we're not at school now and I am not completely inept". She sounded haughty, though in the next breath she found herself falling as her broom turned upside down and made her fall into an ungainly heap on the floor. Huffing and swearing under her breath she pushed back her curls as she got to her feet and was starting to brush herself down as she became aware of Rodolphus just in front of her, though he was clutching at himself as he shook from the force of his laughter.
Catching her eye as she stared at him he grinned cheekily and blew her a kiss, getting easily to his feet then standing with one hip resting on the wall behind him, "we could always use the floo". The withering look was worth it as he doubled over with even louder laughter. Some things they would never change.
