Sweetest Addictions
Oh yes. God, it was sooo good! He could never get enough of it. Licking and sucking, coaxing it out. Nibbling oh so gently until the creamy filling came gushing out to fill his mouth. It was so sweet and yummy, and he couldn't get enough of the way it slid so slowly and delectably down his throat.
And then, when he could get no more out of it, he would go back to his licking and nibbling, content to finish up what he had started until he got another one; a newer one; a fresher, more cream-filled one.
Yes, Usopp loved his Twinkies.
But sadly, he had none to call his own. He'd forgotten to buy some the last time they had been in town, so he had resorted to sneaking around and stealing the ones Nami had bought. At first, he said that he only wanted one, but soon one turned into two, and two into three, until there was no stopping him.
Needless to say, Nami was soon storming around, trying to figure out who was devouring her Twinkies. The sharpshooter tried to stop on many occasions, but he just had to keep going back for more. It was time to face the truth, he was an addict.
It haunted him during the days; the knowledge that he was lying to his friends as Nami sobbed and beat people over her beloved Twinkies, but he could never work up the courage to tell them, or the courage to just say 'no' to that lovely box of delicious in the cupboard late at night.
This had been going on for well over a week, and now there were only two Twinkies left. Usopp had just started into the second one when the door to his room was thrown open by a very, very angry Nami.
"What the Hell? So you're the one who's been eating all my Twinkies!" She lunged at him, death screaming in her eyes.
"Ahh! It's not what you think!" But, of course, it was. Without his trusted slingshot, or in fact, anything to fight the rabid woman off, Usopp was promptly beaten down, because everyone knows you can't beat a rabid, pissed off woman.
The next day, Usopp got no sympathy from his crewmates. Most of them felt he had earned the beating he had been given by lying to them for over a week. But finally, he went into the kitchen to see if Sanji had anything different to say.
"Well, you should've told us you were the one eating them," the cook said as he cut up some carrots, "but she shouldn't have beaten you."
Usopp nodded, glad that at least Sanji didn't seem angry with him. "Hey, I've got an idea of something that might cheer you up. Come into my room later." The cook's unexpected request caught Usopp by surprise, but he managed to nod dumbly anyway.
That night, the sharpshooter of Luffy's crew found that other kinds of white cream could be addicting too.
